Banked Pts Transfer Question

I recently bought a new contract from DVC that I immediately banked my 2005 pts (Dec use year). I'm assuming that these points must now be used by 12/07.
Can I transfer these banked pts to another member? I don't feel comfortable yet with renting.
If so, and I did this after 12/06, how do I make sure the "banked" pts are transfered and not my 2006 points.

Sorry but banked points cannot be transferred. And you're correct, they will expire 12/1/2007 if not used.

If you're not going to be taking any kind of DVC vacation prior to 12/1/07 then you probably only have two other options to use the points.

1. Use them yourself in one of the other Collections.

2. Rent the Points. While you're not comfortable with that, you may be able to 'rent' strictly to a DVC member, one who knows how the program works. You can't transfer them the points, but could make a reservation in their name for them, and use the points that way.

And to round out the rule: you cannot transfer banked points, but you can bank transfered points.
