Banked Points and DL Ressie Question!

I have 160 points, which expire Nov. 30, 2008 (Dec UY). I am using 70 points in October, and banking the remaining 90. We want to go to Disneyland and stay at the Grand Californian in April 2009. When would be the soonest I could make those reservations based on my situation? Do I have to wait until the 2009 point charts come out? When do those typically get released?

Yes, you'll need to wait until the 2009 DL point charts are out. MS should be able to give you an idea as to when that will be. I think it's around Aug/Sept.

You're correct. 2009 DL points charts are released in the Fall.

I found that when the Disneyland website allows you book the next year's reservations, that is when the new points charts come out (shortly after). Keeping an eye on the Disneyland website for available 2009 cash reservations is my way of knowing. MS will tell you that they have "no idea" until the charts are actually released.
