Bank Holiday Weekend..

Did you get your lunch box Natalie? I noticed some very nice blue Eeyore ones in the Disney store :)

I agree, there were some lovely lunch boxes in the Disney Store (I really liked the Cuties one). Anyway I've had a lovely time at Meadowhall. I bought some Mickey Mouse plates from the Disney Store (to match some other kitchen stuff that I've got) and I got some other bits and bobs.

I hope that everyone else has had a good day and that you successfully dodged the showers.

i did get one ! from clinton cards of all places :confused3 i saw a gorgeous cinderella one in the disney store but it was too small for all dd's lunch ( she may be tiny but boy can she eat :rotfl: )
i got a bargain white gypsy skirt for £6.99 !!!!!! and some trousers for the holiday.
this afternoon ive had my hair cut and coloured and we have just had a lovely chinese meal :)
i hope everyone else had a nice weekend :)

Sounds like you guys have had a lovely time :)

I have had a quiet weekend with DH being away although he has been in touch and is having a lovely time site seeing. Today is the first day of his course, I am sure he will be fine :)

I had a wonderful bank holiday. On Sunday we had the garden down the side of the house re-turfed.
On Monday morning, I looked out of the window, and during the night, someone had climbed over the fence and totaly destroyed it, ripped up the turf and strewn it all over the place, some even over the fence on the pavement.
Needless to say I was livid (and still am). Im just hoping it was a random act that wont be repeated.
Took me most of the morning to re-lay it myself and hose it down again.

Oh Tron thats such bad luck, nasty people, hope you get it sorted, I spent all weekend Sat, Sun and Mon decorating (still!) but Callum came home Sunday evening - he'd been away with his dad in Ibiza so it was lovely to have him home.

we spent all weekend at the Reading Festival and had a great time:) :cool1:

The weather was great, there was much beer consumed and skin sunburnt, lots of singing and dancing! (bit like our cruises Kev) pirate:

Had a great bank holiday, we live in Poole, Dorset and have just bought a kayak, so went down our beach and stayed put all day while the kids played in the sea went home about 7pm covered in sand.

i LOVE poole i spent all my summers there as a kid and it was great, my nan lives in hamworthy :)

I had a fab, fab weekend. :cool1:

Friday was DH B-day, :bday: so we both booked Fri off work.
Thursday pm was spent wrapping pressies, making bday cake and decorating the house whilst he was out. :cake:

Friday we got the bus into Northampton and went to a lovely New York Diner and had a gorgeous burger.
Then met his parents and 2 sisters in Wellingborough Wetherspoons (stayed a bit later than we planned tho!!) :drinking: :drinking1

Sat we went to London for the weekend as it was our 1st Wedding Anni on Sunday. :lovestruc
We watched Ewan McGregor in Guys & Dolls which was great.
If you like musicals I recommend it. :cheer2:

Then we had a nice chinese meal in Leicester Sq, and on Sunday (our actual ani) we walked for 2 miles along the times to the Tower of London and spent 4 hours looking about there, and then we watched the cricket in a pub and went to Pizza Hut for dinner.

Monday was spent recovering, and coo-ing over my little nephews (one is 2, and the other is 2 months!!!).

Had a brill time and am depressed about being at work.
Wish I had a holiday booked to look forward to. :sad2:

6 points for Notts County over the bank holiday and we beat our local rivals Mansfield. What a great weekend!!! ;) We are top of the table (we are enjoying it while it lasts! )

I'm glad you like Poole, although if you were to visit now you would think it had really changed the council is going all up market on us, still a nice place to live though, have been down our beach hut all day again today, great weather, great people and big waves.
