I have used those places on inserts you get in the mail and newspapers (I can't think of the names right now), and the last time a family member used Wal-Mart. All were satisfactory.
I get mine from walmart. You have to be careful with the inserts in paper. they are legit but their prices are for first time buyers. I had used one of them a long time ago and forgot and ordered checks and the price was outragous. I prefer walmart. no gimmicks.
Same here. The majority of the checks we write are for our kids' various activities and schools; and those add up! I've never tried Walmart before though. I definitely need to look into what they offer.
I have used the companies on the flyers, actually worked for one. Last time I used walmart, and I think I will most likely just go back with them. They have a cute selection. Last time we got Minion checks. Next time is Disney.
Same here. I think they are free if you have at least $5,000 deposited in the bank.
I wrote 7 checks last month. A couple were to places that I could have used a credit card. The rest of them were to service places (auto mechanic, ) that are cash or check only, no debit or credit cards. I did have my house painted and the painter did take credit cards, but charges a 3% surcharge if you use a credit card. That is illegal in California, he didn't know that, and he offered to waive it when I pointed that out, but I just wrote the check.
Okay, I just finished paying bills. I had to write 2 checks I didn't plan on because the payment websites were down. Okay, I chose to because I didn't want to have to remember to try and long on later to see if the sites were back up.
