Can I bank 2014 points to 2015 now (before Sep 30 deadline), and then if we decide to take a trip before February, borrow some 2015 points into 2014 UY?

Yes. But remember that those borrowed points can't go back so be sure to use them.

banking and borrowing are final transactions.

so if you bank 2014 UY pts into your 2015 UY, that is where they have to be used. they cannot be moved again with banking or borrowing.

Yes you can do this. You can borrow ALL of the normal 2015 points (i.e. non banked into 2015) into the 2014 UY. Remember all points are looked at as individuals. Banking 1 point will not prevent another point from being borrowed or banked. ALL points can be banked OR borrowed 1 time. Once a single point is banked or borrowed that single point is now in its final UY.
