Band trips

My band is taking a trip to Disney World in Febuary. Has anyone done this before. Where else have ya'll gone?

my band went to disney twice! YAY it is great fun. we didnt stay on sight but ya know it is still cool. we marched in epcot the first time and down main street the second time. it was very fun! you will enjoy it. hey if i am not working i can come and see you march!

and it was the BEST trip ever.
We marched down Main Street before the 3:00 parade, which was awesome!
and then we did the workshops (band did a playing one, and guard ((me)) did a dance one)
We stayed at the All Star Movies, which was great as well.
The best part tho was being able to roam around the parks with just your friends.. No parents or chaperones breathing down ur necks!

I'm only in 8th grade and the only trip we went on was to michigan and it was so much fun. And when i'm a senior we will go some where kool. Every four years we take a trip and thats just where it happens to land and there are no complaints from me or my friends that are in band.

No. But next year when I attend High School, I'm joining the Travel band and hope to travel to places like Florida, Ohio, and Ireland.

no where far, just to columbus last year for the fair. we might play for the president for the induction ceremony! DC here i come!! but we did play for bush at his huge rally in cincy last sunday b4 the election! it was so cool!

Wow sounds like fun. We're staying at the All Star music hotel. We're going over the long weakend in Feb. If your there come see us march. We'll be in blue and white. go vikes!

I am in 8th grade and we take a trip every 2 years. I also get to go on a big trip when I am a senior!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to California last year, because I am in high school band. We also get to go to Hawaii next year !!!!!!!!!!

We're going to WDW in March. We'll be marching in Epcot and spending a week in the parks...I'm ridiculously excited!

my band takes a trip every year. we went to myrtle beach my freshman year, and last year we went to orlando! after driving all night, we spent our first day in mgm (we were so happy to finally get to shower after leaving, though!). the next day was performing, the third day was spent at islands of adventure/universal studios cuz that's where the awards ceremony was, and the final day was at magic kingdom! we marched down main street. unfortunately we weren't before a parade cuz my band director didn't sign up early enough. it was still really fun though. after wishes we left and drove home.

but marching at disney was DEFINITELY one of my best marching band experiences. we didn't get to do a workshop though, i've heard of them before and they sound really cool! the trip was really nice, even though we stayed off-site.

my band takes a trip every year. it hasn't been announced yet, but i think we're going to myrtle beach again this year. i'm kinda disappointed. i wish we could go somewhere cool like california or hawaii, instead of switching between myrtle beach and orlando! they're still fun trips though. our main problem is $. ex: we were invited to london last year, but my band director thought it was too expensive! but going to WDW definitely compensated for that.

We went to DisneyWorld last year! It was awesome. we didnt stay on property though but it was still cool. You will have a blast!! We marched in the 3:00 parade at MK and we also marched at Universal Island of Adventures, but that was dumm. The other band didnt show so we marched by ourself and looked liked idiots to the few people that were in the park . Next year our school is going to Europe to be in the big Christmas parade.(im not sure what it is called)

I have marched all over. Disney a few times, and a lot of bowl shows.
I always do stuff with DCI Drum Corps International
