Does anyone know anything about the band Live playing at Mardi Gras 3/22?

Also, what time are the parades, concerts on Fridays and Saturdays?

Thanks!

I miss Live by one week and I am sooo bummed! They are an awesome band and you have probably heard their music on the radio. They are a rock band and a more popular song they do is Dolphins Cry. Here you can read about them on MTV website. Also listen to a few clips!

I think the parade starts at 8 and the concert follows at 8:30 but double check! Have Fun! :)

Thanks! Guess I'm showing my age 'cause I've still never heard of them. Even played a couple of their songs to no avail. Guess I need to watch something other than Real World on MTV. (I'm a news radio kind 'o guy)

Your welcome, and I'm older than you:p I'd glady trade ya I get to see Hootie:rolleyes:

Your so lucky! I'd love to see Hootie. Hootie, Village People, KC, even Willie Nelson, those shows would be great.

Thanks for your help!

They're all good, but Skynyrd by far puts on the best Mardi Gras performance. If there's one performance to see, it's this one.

My sister is going to see Counting Crows, while my mom is going for KC & the Sunshine Band & The Village People (those last two are the same night). The parade is at 8pm and the concert starts generally around 830.

Gee, I guess I really enjoy being "local" this time of year!!!

I started off saying that I really only wanted to get to 4 of them (SugarRay, Counting Crows, Hootie and Smashmouth), but after going last week, the atmosphere is what it's really all about! I like the new stage setup and I have always enjoyed live performances....

I still don't think I'll go see Willie Nelson though...

Karen you are going to be missing one of the best concerts by missing Willie Nelson.

Willie Nelson settled with the IRS finally. They auctioned off a lot of his stuff but some of the things were bid on by his friends and then given back to him.

I like Willie too.

My older son has declared that he most definitely wants to see Smashmouth, so I hope we can hook up with you, Patty!!! :)

Bring some of that snow with you so I can try to remember what it looks like! :jester:

I'm hoping we'll be moving into our house by that weekend, but as MIB9's said, maybe it would be nice to get out that night and relax a bit, after a long-day's work ! I couldn't agree more! :)

Besides, if we're going to drag DS to all the other concerts, I guess the least we can do is take him to the ONE he wants to see!

We certainly have enough snow to spare.

I was just thinking of you today, Karen, I had a eggplant parm sub from thats italian

It was delicious, but so much for that pre-Florida diet!!

It would be great to finally meet!!

Patty
