Banana Boat ride

I notice they added the Banana Boat Thrill ride at Castaway. It wasn't available a few weeks ago when I booked our excursions and those always look fun!
Looking up Youtube video's I see some are pulled by jet skis (which seem slower) and some by small boats. Does anyone know which Disney uses?

It was cancelled the day we were there but they were sitting over by the jet skis so I'm guessing jet ski (but that's totally a guess).

I've seen photos appear of friends doing this on castaway in the last couple of weeks. While I haven't seen one of them actually being pulled along, in quite a few photos they're on the banana boat and next to a small boat.

I cropped the peoples out, but this is from Castaway, you can just see the ship in the background. Like I said, doesn't really prove either way that it's a boat or jet ski...

We saw it a few weeks ago and it was pulled by a jet ski. Looked like lots of fun.

It isn't even mentioned in the guidebooks at the moment so I'd be interested in what people thought.
