We are surprising my son with a b-day trip at the end of March. I would love for him to wake up to balloons (this is normally a tradition at home). Do you know if there is any way to get them delivered to our room or if I am able to buy a few somewhere on property?

Anything else special that can be done a the resort or MK? Thank you!

Disney Florist might be able to do something... hopefully someone will come along with suggestions.

I just wanted to be sure you are not staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge or Villas. They do not allow guests to keep balloons due to safety concerns for the animals.

Staying at Pop Century so I'm good. Thank you...I will try the florist!

You might want to even think about renting a car to go off site. The grocery stores sell the big mylar ones for $5 and Disney sells them for $10 or more. Then you can also buy other items needed for your room. A car would only be $40 or so to rent...just a thought, I found the florist to be $$$$$

Disney Florist has birthday options, and I agree with PP who suggested going off site. You'll be able to get more for your money. However, if you aren't planning on having a car, it might not be worth it. Depends on if you're looking for 5 balloons or 20.

I'm not sure MK will do anything special aside from the birthday button and maybe some unexpected pixi dust. You have to remember that they deal with tens upon tens of thousands of guests each day, and many with birthdays.

You could always order a birthday cake from Disney and arrange to have it at the end of a meal (this would be different than a normal desert at a restaurant and you have to order and plan in advance).

Good luck with the balloons!

My sister ordered for my DD when we went for her sweet 16 this past Aug from Disney Floral .. she got a package and it was delivered while we were out of the room one day .. it is not delievered on the day of arrival as the room assignments are not given till you arrive .. Good luck on whatever you do !

I would call the front desk of the hotel and ask if they have balloons. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

They very well might. On one visit my cousin and I were celebrating our birthdays while there and when we came back to the room on my birthday (hers was 2 weeks before), there were balloons for each of us with an autographed picture from our favorite characters. This was a Pop Century

Unless you have an unlisted number, you do not call the front desk. The call will be routed to a call center who will answer based off of the number coming in. This is even true when calling from your room.

This is why it is always suggested that if you have a problem, you need to actually go to the physical front desk to speak to someone.
