Balloons for birthday in Hotel

Hi, I've been looking around at some of the threads and I thought I noticed that someone had some birthday balloons put into their room for their birthday. I am looking for something different to do for my son's birthday when we go to the DLH at the end of January and if they could so something like that it would be fantastic. If anyone has any information on birthday things I would be really grateful.

I think that's probably me. I rang the Newport Bay Club to ask if there was anything special they could do to the room that I could pay for, as a surprise for my DS. There wasn't anything, but the CM I spoke to said he'd make a note of it in the book and see what he could do and told me to ring a day or so before arrival just to check the request was still there.
I did and as I mentioned it was lovely there were lots of balloons arranged around the beds, a card signed by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto and an autograph book.
Definately worth a couple of phonecalls - DS was delighted and amazed how they knew it was his birthday.

Oh my god how fantastic. I just phoned DLH and they said to phone back 5 days before we are due to go and they will arrange it. I will let you know how I get on. Thanks again, if they can do this for me my son is going to absolutely love it.

Glad the DLH were able to help. I was as surprised as you when the NPB agreed to do something with no charges attached, it's one of the little things that help turn a good holiday into a great holiday. I'm sure your son will be as pleased as mine was.
