Balloon PSA

When you are standing in front of the hub with a balloon, please pull it down to waist level during the fireworks. You may think that if it's floating in the air above you it isn't blocking anybody's view, but actually, you are COMPLETELY blocking the view of the castle of the people standing about 20 feet behind you. This is even more important now that there are so many castle projections that accompany the fireworks. It is very frustrating and as everybody knows, it is very difficult to move to find a new spot when your view is blocked. Thank you!

If a balloon was meant to be held waste height it would not come with a long string. Buck up and step to the left or right.

Your balloon doesn't need a good view of the show. Buck it up and hold it for a few minutes for the sake of everyone behind you.

I assure you, I do have enough common sense that IF I COULD have actually moved to the left or right, I would have. It affected many people around me and MANY people were complaining. It's funny, the three 6-10 year olds directly in front of me, had no issue or problem holding their balloons down at their waist level for 20 minutes during the show. I'm only putting this out there, because I assume that it just did not occur to the adult male in front of our group that he WAS blocking our view.

Balloons were meant to fly and that string holding them down is balloon cruelty. Buck up and let your balloon go. If it loves you (or gets get by firework debris) it will return

Bothers me a lot less than people putting their kids on their shoulders. That's more of an obstruction. I doubt the guy is here anyway,
