Orange Blossom Balloon Flights - I think $165 per adult. We are going in August!

Hiya!

We've booked with www.themeparkland.co.uk to go for a balloon ride with Blue Water Balloons!

Similar to Orange Blossom flights, only Blue Water do a picnic breakfast as opposed to a buffet restaurant style one.

I'll look up the price we paid, as we found it quite cheap on the net, but because we were buying all our theme park and attraction tickets from themeparkland, we got them to price match.

They are superb.

Let me know if you need any details!

Thanks lorraine,

the web site is excellent and will go back and use it to book my balloon flights.

Hi again Chris,

Glad you liked the website!!

I did check our details and we paid £240 (thats for two adults, an 11 yr old and our 8 yr old is free)!!

We will be staying in the Quality Inn International on I-Drive, and Blue Water Balloons offer free pick-up from here at about 5am!!

We cant wait!!

Can highly recommend Orange Blossom. We went with them in November and had a fantastic flight.

Can't remember the cost but it was worth every penny!!

OBB and BWB are the two premier balloon operators in Orlando and you can't really go wrong with either one. The only real difference is the way they serve breakfast (either back at La Quinta Inn on 192 with OBB and or where you land with BWB). Orange Blossom's lead balloon also has the coolest call-sign of them all - OB1 (Obi-wan - geddit?!).

Hi lorraine,

we are both staying at the same hotel QII just a few days apart, did you choose your pick up point or did they tell you where you were goingto be picked up.

Thanks for all your help.

Hi Chris!! Thats fab that we're staying in the same place!!

Are you back before we fly over on the 10th October?? Im hoping for good reports from you on the hotel!! We chose it cos its our first trip and we are planning to do EVERYTHING not just WDW!
(Also - its one of Virgin's flagship hotels so I though that would be a benefit)!

With regard to the balloon flight, we booked as Ive said through www.themeparkland.co.uk - remember, the price they quote is slightly higher than what we paid - we got them to price-match as the flight is quoted cheaper on www.worldofdisneytickets.com. The only difference being is that they do charge 1% if booked by credit card, so we booked with our Visa Debit one.

Themeparkland sent us through the receipt and details and I emailed Blue Water Balloons direct after receiving the receipt to confirm with them. They have been excellent, and have emailed back to say they have booked it for us for the 17th Oct and we are to just give them a ring when we arrive in resort to confirm all the details. They didnt offer the QII as a pick-up, they just mentioned "free local pick-up" so I asked them about our hotel and they have confirmed that they will pick us up from there.
Also the pick-up time is 6am - not 5am- that I said previously!!

So my planning is going well! Thanks to these boards!!

Good luck with yours,

Lorraine :Pinkbounc
