Can anyone tell me how much it costs to have a balloon bouquet delivered and waiting in your room when you arrive(DLH)

All I can think of is Jeff Foxworthy. "Smells like $50.00 to me". :rolleyes1

I just tried to have some delivered for my trip this past weekend for my daughter's B-day, it was going to be $20 plus tax, not bad. But, they messed up and they were never delivered. I would confirm immediately before you leave that the order is in and correct.

This was at DL Hotel and I went through Vacation Planning to set it up (they messed up my cake order too).

WOW! That is pretty cheap.I guess it is only a good deal if you get them though.
It is our first trip to Disney and I want to make it extra special for my 8yr old DD. She loves balloons:cutie:

Check out F2 Balloons and Design (f2balloons.com). I saw a beautifully decorated room in Kayla's Mom's TR and it looked so nice that I've contacted them to do something for our December trip. :woohoo:

What pricing did they quote you? Just wondering ballpark pricing, thinking of doing the same when we visit in November. Thanks!

Michelle at F2 quoted me 140$ for next week to decorate For DDs birthday. They said that is 60 balloons! I thought that was way too many we would have to leave them anyways. So she said they could do less for 100$. Now I am thinking way less balloons and some candy? If she can do that for the same price? Havnt heard back from her yet.
While 60 balloons Would be stunning, I don't think I want to live with them for 5 days :scared1:

Yes, we definitely had ribbon in our faces when we got up out of bed. A couple of times it freaked me out when the room was dark and then I remembered all of the balloons! :goodvibes

Ha!Ha! Ha!...Yep,that would be me......screaming like a banshee:scared1:.

Thanks for the help. I think I will get a bouquet delivered for my DD the day after after we arrive. I was told that they don't assign rooms until you check in. I will include a card from Mickey that says" I saw you in the park today....I hope you enjoy your first trip to Disneyland":cloud9:

I'm sorry for not getting back to you, _yoko_. I'm still waiting for Michelle to let me know. I have sent her some of my ideas and so can't wait to hear what she comes up with. I will post as soon as I hear. :)

I called Michelle at F2 for a gift basket and balloons. She is going to do a basket with a Mickey plush and some Disney themed candy with a big Mickey head mylar and a red, a black and white latex ballooon for $75. She chuckled when I told her I got her info from the Dis!!!

FWIW, the DLH only delivers to the rooms between 4:00 and 6:00. So if you check in earlier, it will not be in your room on arrival

Man! I should have worked out some sort of deal with her for a referral discount before I posted her info!

Thanks Niele and everyone who has posted! You've given me some great ideas and things to consider (balloon strings in face first thing in the morning)!:hippie:

We arrive at hojo tomorrow to a decorated room :)
courtesy of F2!! I will post pics! I am so excited to see DDs face when she sees! I got 3 balloon bouquets with DDs fav candies mint mentos green tic tacs and we are getting mardi gra beads! Lol it has been a hard secret to keep. Michele called today to tell me the details and DD was right next to me, Michelle knew, I had to speak in broken sentences! Lolol

We've booked through them too because of Kayla's moms thread :rotfl: Maybe it's not to late to call them Kayla's mom. :lovestruc

It's costing us the $140 for the room and we're staying at Hojo's. We're getting multi coloured balloons and 2 gift baskets. The baskets are extra thought I suppose. My dh has done all the bookings for it. We are hiring two joined rooms and my mum is coming too. I thought we might stick all the balloons in her room for the duration of our stay :lmao:

Balloons in my room sounds so fun! Thanks for the idea! Do they deliver to the fairfield Inn too or just DLH? And how does that work? I would like the room decorated before we arrive- since we will be getting in at around 10 pm. Is this possible? Would they let someone in to decorate? I suppose I would have to call the hotel and tell them right? I think "Michelle" is going to be getting a lot of business! And Kaylas Mom should be getting commission for referrals!
Back to the boards I go for more research! :surfweb:

I think she would deliver to any hotel. We were at Hojo's and DH called ahead of time and let them know she would be coming so the room was all decorated when we got there. :goodvibes
