I was excited to start pointe too, but it can cause a lot of ankle and foot problems. Luckily, I never have very many injuries. =]

For how long? Fourteen years.
Favorite ballet? Coppelia because I got to perform it at the Kiev Opera House in Ukraine.
Favorite variation? La Fille Mal Gardee
What are best at? Any kind of turns.
What are you worst at? Probably adagio. I really don't like it.
Which ballets have you been it? Nutcracker, Giselle, Sleeping Beauty, Dracula, Coppelia, Francesca da Rimini, Lady and the Hooligan, Le Corsaire, Tarantella, and Don Quixote.
What sort of pointe shoes do you wear? Russian pointe.
How long do they usually last? Two weeks.
What do you like the most about ballet? The friendships. And performing.

I've taken ballet for 7 years. Because of a knee injury, I couldn't start pointe until this year.
I'm so excited to start pointe lol.

i dun feel like filling that thing out.

i havnt been doin ballet for a wile.

i started ballet to help with gymnastics. sadley, gymnastics cost too much, so i had to stop. so... i am already at a novice level and in one of the more advanced classes. i have not yet started pointe, but i will the year after next.

For how long? This is my 13th year taking ballet classes.
Favorite ballet? Hmm. That's a toughy. I'm a sucker for Romeo and Juliet.
Favorite variation? Esmerelda.
What are best at? Leaps and turns (mainly fouettes).
What are you worst at? Nothing specific, but I have issues holding my center once in a while.
Which ballets have you been it? Nutcracker and Swan Lake.
What sort of pointe shoes do you wear? Grishko 2007s
How long do they usually last? About 6-9 months. If I'm lucky haha.
What do you like the most about ballet? I love the grace and beauty about it. It's made me more disciplined as a person.

i'd come downstairs and like everday i would put in The nutcracker then run and go get my little tutu Ballerina outfit on and dance around the Living room

Which ballets have you been it? I've never performed in a ballet but we do ballet dances in recitals
What sort of pointe shoes do you wear? Pointe was giving me stress fracture so I had to quit...

What do you like the most about ballet? Probally that it can be really relaxing, fun, but challenging at the same time.

Eta here is me doing fouttes in jazz...

What are best at? my pointe works pretty decent, and my jumpings not all that bad
What are you worst at? fouttes ! omg. and grande jete en tournon (cant spell, sorry)

What sort of pointe shoes do you wear? i had gandor mindens, ick, now i have bloche
How long do they usually last? dunno, just got them
