Thanks for any help you can provide.Just how wide are these? From the pictures I have seen there look narrow. In the past we have eaten breakfast on our balconies and on Disney this doesn't look doable.

Some of the balconies are wider than others. That is one reason that I like the far aft verandahs. I have photos on my website at www.castawayclub.com for comparison. The far aft verandahs have solid metal as opposed to plexiglass, but they are "deeper" due to the curve of the ship. Eating breakfast out on the vernadah is one of the greatest pleasures of a cruise. :D

Any of them are wide (deep) enough for a couple of chairs so they are definitely doable for breakfast. Looking forward to that!

told DS we have a verandah. He thought it was the size of the Wilderness Lodge balcony. Told him no "we'd be lucky to get 2 chairs out there" but it sure will be nice regardless

The balconey is I would guess about four feet wide by six feet long. (this is just a guestimate) there are two chairs and a small table out there. When the chairs are occupied there is still plenty of room for another person to stand. I have put my feet on one chair and sat in the other and taken in a reclining position and there was still room for DH and DS to stand and look out the railing.

Based on the fact that verandah rooms are 54 sq. ft. larger than oceanview rooms, I've always thought that the verandah dimensions are 9' x 6', but they probably aren't six feet wide, now that I think about it. Probably closer to 5' x 11'. In any case, it's plenty large enough for two people to eat a meal.

We're in a cat 6 for our next cruise. Would it be possible to comfortably fit four chairs and the table on the verranda? I was thinking of eating our breakfast out their at least once. If so, who do we ask to get additional chairs?

The verandahs are as wide as your cabin and about 5 feet deep. So.......... if you have one of the suites, they are pretty good size. I don't think you could fit a "dining size" table with the chairs, even on one of the suite verandahs. The table they provide is a small table, 16 - 20 inches across......... plenty big enough to hold coffee and breakfast goodies, or a konk kooler...... :D

Another thing to consider, there is a trench (for lack of a better term) nearest the railing of about 8-12" wide that is lower than the floor of the balcony by about 1 inch or so.

We had trouble when trying to move the two chairs around very much, because we had to keep the legs of the chairs out of that lower part.

The balcony is great for two people to sit out there and drink coffee etc. But, not big enough for a family of 4 to all sit out there together comfortably.
