Balcony question.

We are staying in three Cat 4D staterooms on the Fantasy. Two of our three side-by-side staterooms connect. Does anyone know if the balcony walls also "connect"? Can we open up the balcony "walls"? If so, only on the two connecting staterooms or would we be able to open all three stateroom balconies?

We have only ever sailed with connecting staterooms once on NCL so I'm not sure if DCL is the same. On NCL our two balconies could be opened up to be one big balcony.

I believe most of the verandas open and connect together. Except for when there is part of the ships structure preventing it.

If I remember correctly, the partitions don't actually come down. There's a panel in them that can be unlocked and opened similar to the size of a door. Hopefully someone who has had one opened recently will have more info.

There are some on deck 10 that don't open becase of structure issuses.

If I remember correctly, the partitions don't actually come down. There's a panel in them that can be unlocked and opened similar to the size of a door. Hopefully someone who has had one opened recently will have more info.

The verandah dividers that don't open (due to ships structure) are on deck 10. Here's one

Thanks so much. We're on deck 6 so I think we're good. On NCL's ship the entire wall folded completely back so that was really nice, but this will be good enough. Thanks!

Ask your statetroom host about that. We had a few rooms side-by-side on the Dream in 2013 and the panels were taken out so we had one big balcony.
