Which resorts have rooms with balconies? :confused3

Only deluxe resorts and DVC villas. Some of the deluxe resorts have rooms without balconies, but they do have windows that open. Some of the deluxe rooms have standing balconies only (no table or chairs).

I thought that too, but BW isn't deluxe is it? And it has some balconies. :confused3

BW is a deluxe.

The values are:
All Star Sports
All Star Movies
All Star Music
Pop
and soon to be Art of Animation

Moderates:
PO French Quarter
PO Riverside
Caribbean
Coronado
FW Cabins (in a moderate category)

The rest are deluxe or DVC resorts

Thanks. Looking to go in jan 13 for marathon. We plan to do a lot of relaxing and want a balcony. So now I know where to start looking.....

Nice!! Are you or your dh going to be running? We've already booked for marathon weekend. BW is nice and as long as you don't overlook the parking lot (IMO), there are some great views and pretty relaxing. :)

We booked our marathon stay in February.

Reminder, if you stay at the Epcot resorts, you will still have to take the bus to the start and from the finish since you can't go through the park before nor after the race (unless you have a ticket to use after the race). The park isn't open before the race.

I will be. Did my first half there this jan, going to DL in sept for the half and was thinking I will do my first full in jan. :goodvibes

How hard will it be for him to make it over towards mile 18 or so to see me?

The Dolphin and Swan resorts have rooms with balconies for an extra charge. Usually priced much better than their neighbors, YC, BC, BWI.

Deluxe resorts- WL- all rooms have balconies, CR- Tower has balconies, GF- all rooms I think?, Poly- 2nd floor in some buildings don't have balconies, BC- I think 50% of rooms have full balconies, YC- all balconies, BWI- I think all have balconies, AKL- all rooms have balconies.
Ground floor rooms will have small patio in most Deluxe.

I stayed at the Contemporary last week on the 11th floor of the tower, Bay Lake side. It was BREATHTAKING. That view was easily the best part of the resort. If you're looking for a room with a view, it doesn't get much better than that! I highly recommend booking a room as close to the top of the tower as you can get (11th floor is the highest non-concierge floor).

Good to know. I was considering that resort...as well as AKL...and...and

BW is definitely deluxe.

another way to tell if the resorts are close to a park and you can walk or boat to that park - they are deluxe.

the only exception is AKV/L, SSR and OKW.

BW is close to two parks.
