I have heard alot of people discuss getting cakes etc from a bakery at a resort but don't know which resort or is it at the boardwalk?
Where are there bakery's that aren't in a park?

I've only been to the one on the Boardwalk, Close to the ESPN Club, very good but I can not remember its name

I think the Boardwalk is the only non-park bakery but I might be wrong.

To the best of my knowledge, Boardwalk Bakery, at the Boardwalk is the only actual resort bakery where you can walk up and get baked goods. All the resorts have bakeries in their kitchens but no separate bakery. It's very yummy.

Is this bakery at the Boardwalk the place where you can order special desserts from also?
....Also will I find it easily if I make my way to the Boardwalk?

you will find it easily theres a big bakery sign outside so you should notice it (and it always smells like cake)

I think the special desserts you order are catered elsewhere as they are delivered (assuming you mean the cakes etc you can order from guest services). Im not actually sure where these are made but it isn't in the bakery I dont think its in a private bakery that isn't open to guests.

Its along the boardwalk and the cupcakes are yummy! It isn't big inside and can be crowded but its worth it! You can also fill up your resort mug here and most things are available as a snack on DDP. Most of my snack credits went on cupcakes or cinnamon danish pastries.

You can also see the bakers baking behind the counter which is good fun. Boardwalk is nice to visit at dusk because they have entertainers out and the atmosphere is great, a lovely place for a relaxing stroll. If you're at epcot you can use the "back door" to get there and it is usually quicker to walk than get the boat. If you plan an evening there Spoodles is a grear place to eat.

Enjoy your trip.
