Baked Beans at Flame Tree BBQ?

Does anyone know if the baked beans at Flame Tree BBQ have bacon in them?? Or are the vegitarian??

I know traditional baked beans add bacon, but my family doesn't eat bacon. If they do have bacon, will they let me substitute with another item?? We plan on eating here during our trip and I want to see what my options are before we arrive.

I cannot promise, but I am going to say that they do not have bacon, at least not large enough pieces for me to have noticed. I don't think they will substitute, unless for maybe another ear of corn. The other side dishes are more expensive. DH and I did not like the beans. They seemed very sweet and had been cooked a while. We just tasted them and bought onion rings to go with our food.

I'm trying to remember, but I'm thinking they had pork in them, but not bacon. Maybe like pieces of pulled pork or chopped pork. I think you can substitute...maybe fries or something??? I really liked the beans, they are slow cooked and sweet like the last poster said, but really good in my book!!!

I was going to call Guest Services to contact them and ask, but I didn't want to bother them just for that.

I guess we will just play it by ear and ask when we are there. If we find out they have pork in them, we can ask for them to leave them off or ask for a different side. I know the fries and onion rings are higher priced, but it looks like the coleslaw could be around the same price as the beans.

I assumed the had meat in them, because most baked beans do. Maybe I'll get a nice CM who will let me get the onion rings instead
