Does anyone know if the Bahamas restrictions are ending Nov 1st and if so would the November 1st Dream cruise require vaccines or not?

we only want to cruise during current protocols and therefore would not want to end up on the first cruise with less restrictions.

of course I will call Disney but I often find phone reps really don’t know any specific information.
Thanks!

It is highly unlikely DCL move away from vaccines required, as if they ever hope to visit any other Caribbean island they will need them. Flip flopping back and forth will just confuse cruisers.

Agreed but not sure if that have that leeway with FL legislation. Hope they do though!

Not sure they have that leeway with the Bahamas restrictions, unless they elect not to stop in the Bahamas. Florida has no say in the Bahamas.

Or in GC, BVI or even the USVI. Florida have no say in the rules of the ports of call.

Agreed. But if the Bahamas restriction ends 11/1 then I don’t see how they can keep the restriction with the FL legislation.

The Disney rep. said the current protocols would be in effect until the end of the year.

British Virgin Islands just said no unvaccinated passengers allowed and the Cayman Islands says no cruise ships at all TFN. So cruise lines and Florida really have no authority.......if they want to go to this ports.

I'm booked on the Nov 14th Fantasy, which is the first scheduled to stop at Tortola and St Thomas - and I'd be very surprised if we actually end up there. The October sailings were modified almost exactly a month before the first one. We're 32 days out and I fully expect an itinerary change in the next day or two. Point being, I think BVI/USVI restrictions probably don't enter into it since I would not be surprised if Disney doesn't go there at all until at least 2022.

As for the Bahamas, no one can predict the future but I would be shocked to see them drop their requirement any time soon, and even if they did, I think Disney would not be in a rush to return to dealing with a mix of vaxxed and unvaxxed adults.
