Bahamas 2 day trip

Has anyone been on the Bahamas 2 day trip out of Miami which is advertised in the Kieth Prowse catalogue. I was thinking of booking it but im not sure cos i have never heard any reports on it.

hi steve, we have been on this trip twice before and think it's great , it is with a company called real florida excursions. you fly to bahamas and sail back, any questions just ask.

Sorry to hijack your thread steve....

1) How long do you spend in Miami before flying across to the Bahamas?

2) Whats the hotel like in Bahamas?

3) Are any meals inlcuded in the trip?

4) Is the hotel close to the beach?

5) How tiring is the trip?

Hmmmmm think thats it for now.

We are going next summer with my aunt and her family, we were thinknig that the 2 day Miami Bahamas trip would be a nice getaway for just DH and I.

hi mel,

1. you spend about 3 to 4 hours in miami you are dropped at the bayside marketplace which is on the harbour, you can go on a star island cruise which lasts around 40 mins to see the homes of the rich and famous.

2. the hotel in the bahamas is the crowne plaza which is a 4 star hotel it was refurbished last year, it is really nice with a lovely pool, right next door is a casino, and next door to that is the international bazaar.

3. the only meal included is the dinner buffet on the discovery
cruise liner on your way back.

4. the hotel is about 5 mins from the beach which is white powder sand and warm clear sea.

5. the trip is tiring, you get back to orlando about 3 am , but i am sure you will love it.

thanks alot nicki, one more wierd question. Is it a very posh kinda trip or is it kinda casual, and do u get long on the beach in bahamas.

Hi Steve, its a casual trip , we went to the beach at 8.30 and returned to the hotel to go on the trip to see the dolphins at 1.00, trip left at 1.30 , we checked out of our room before the beach and left the bags in storage.
