Has anyone been here with children? Went before when it was just me and DH but our niece is travelling with us this time. Had a look on their website and can't see separate kids menu.

Also looking for a nice restuarant to celebrate SIL's wedding - any suggestions?

We did lunch here with our kids in December. There was a kids menu with the usual kids fare (chicken strips, pizza, mac n cheese etc). The entire lunch menu is a lot less comprehensive than the dinner menu (though equally as tasty!!) so the evening kids menu may also be larger.

Hope that helps a little bit!

My kids have always had a great time at Bahama Breeze, either from the kids menu or from the adults one as they grew older.

For your SIL's celebration , there are some great places to go, depending on what you're looking for ( how posh) and your budget. If you can give a few ideas on what sort of thing/cost you're looking for it will be MUCH easier for people to give you a useful reply. "Nice" can mean a great many things for different people. In my book for full service restaurants , cheap is $15- 20 a head , reasonable $20-35 a head, good quality $35-50 and expensive $50+ a head. That's food costs, alcohol would be extra.

Looking for somewhere around $20-$40 a head for celebration. Would like to go dressed up a bit too.

Glad they cater for kids @ Bahama Breeze - already looking forward to going back

a bit more than your price bracket but one of the best restaurants Ive ever been to in my life was arthurs 27 at the Wyndam Palace. huge picutre windows overlook epcot and dtd and consequently the fireworks at 9pm! - food was amazing.. it has been voted best restaurant in Orlando for many years. Its a grown up restaurant.. similar to victoria and alberts but not anything like the cost..
its a special restaurant.. and we loved it!

SammieG - Arthurs 27 sounds great. What's the dress code - would we look out of place in clothes we wear to the parks (t-shirt, shorts, trainers etc)?

yes absolutely you would have to get dressed up... its a smart restaurant..

You dont need a tie like Victoria and Alberts.. but you would need long trousers and a shirt (for a man!) -

I forgot to say its on the 27th Floor.. hence the amazing views!

Jana and I went to Narcoossees to celebrate our wedding (granted it was 2 months after the event but we couldn't do it earlier). This was a very nice meal, we watched the MK fireworks from our table. Main courses were in the $20-25 range, starters between $5-15, puddings about $10. We got a white choco cinderella slipper (special pre-ordered) between us that was about $15. If you want a little "magic" sprinkled in with your meal this is an option I could recommend. Dress was at the casual end of smart casual. Very good service, food and atmosphere in the restaurant, it also has a pretty view out of the windows over the lake with a perfect view of the MK fireworks.

Arthurs is somewhere I plan on testing out in a few weeks, courtesy of the entertainment books, buy one get one free promo :sunny: )
