We are planning a trip in early June to see the Universal theme parks and Seaworld. We might spend a day at Disney, too. I found a great deal at Bahama Bay resort, and would like to know what would be a fast route to Universal Studios/Islands of Adventure. We are also looking at the other resorts listed above because we would like to stay in a 2 or 3 bedroom for under $130 a night. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks for your help!

I am not sure about a short cut to Universal, but I drove thru Bahama Bay resort last week and it looked AWESOME. It is a little farther away, BUT you could probablly stay there and really relax. Possibly not even do disney! I'd like to stay there myself. There is a nice restaurant on a lake at the back of the resort and we saw several folks walking for dinner. They were dressed in a dressy casual. This looks like a very nice upscale resort. I just had to post since I was so impressed with the exteriors and the resort it's self.

Edit: I just noticed your question about Seaword and Universal, This resort is definatly closer to the disney Themeparks. Try Mapquest and see if it might be quicker to take 27 south to I 4 east and get to univeral that way.

You can either go south on the 27 to junction 55 then head north in I-4 to the Universal exit or head north to the 192 until you reach Sherberth Road turn left here and the turn right at the junction with the Osceola Parkway (This is Disney property so you are ready to go anywhere within that area ) then join the I-4 to Universal or wherever you need to go.
The area around BB is nice and if you come out of Florence Villa Grove Road and head south for about 1/2 mile you wil find a Publix alittle further down there is a Cracker Barrell Biob Evans and Southern dunes golf community and its very nice restaurant. If you head east at Ronald Reagan parkway you will go through Champions gate and there is a nice Italian restaurant there called Pepperons .
Just north of the junction with the 192 you will find the wal mart and a famiy restarant called Randys and a new Indian restaurant called Sangam which has been getting good reviews.

Melynny and JANNYANS, thank you so much for your detailed responses! I think I will go ahead and book Bahama Bay! (By the way, I found the deal on Hotelmart USA: a 3 bedroom condo for $714 for a 7 night stay.) The resort does sound lovely. I'll let you know what we thought of it when we get back! Thanks again for all the info!

You are welcome I know the area well so if there is anything else you would like to know just ask I will be in Florida very close to BB as from Tuesday for a week .
