Can anyone help with advice for good accomodation in a resort style.

We really enjoyed the Bahama Bay resort last year but I don't like to go back to the same place twice, we do not want a villa because we found this to be more expensive in previous experience of paying for pool heating and safe.

We do like the resort feel of diffrent pools and hot tubs and we liked the space of the resort accomodation and the seperate bedrooms and full kitchen laundry etch.

I have found that other suite style accomodation tends to have all the beds in one room and/or sofa/bed in lounge which I do not really want as the boys are too old now to be sleeping beside us!

There must be something similar to Bahama bay resort and price out there any advice greatly received :)

Try Floridays, or either of the Hilton Grand Vacation Resorts - they look like they'd meet your needs.

Wyndham Bonnet Creek always looks good and is a great location if you spend most of your time at WDW.

We love Sheraton Vistana Villages .... Great location at the South end of international drive, way past the busy end but close to Premium Outlets, Seaworld and Aquatica

Hi,
We have stayed at Cypress Pointe LBV four times :)

Since then Ive recommended it to a few people and they have also gone there and loved it!

Plus points that swayed my decision when we first went:

Lots of space-didn't want a cramped hotel room.
Wanted to be close to the magic and its handy for everything.
Needed a washing machine when the kids were small (not so much an issue now)
A friend of mine also pointed out if you go somewhere with a shared pool the kids make friends. ( if their happy we're happy)
My DH likes a pint of a night and wouldn't dream of having one if he was driving. (he's is a man in uniform!!) So we loved the fact that we could walk out to a variety of restaurants in 5 to 10 minutes including Giordonnos pizza, Chillis, Joes Crab Shack, Olive Garden and the Orlando Ale House etc Its a bit further on to the Crossroads and we have also developed a taste for Chevvys in the last couple of years. (would highly recommend the pulled pork fajitas if you like Mexican).

Ok so excellent location aside here's the bad points:
No breakfast
If you want wifi you have to pay for it! (A real gripe with our American cousins it depends what's important to you!!)
No maid service. The room is cleaned once a week. Eg in 3 wks our apartment was cleaned 3 times.
The front desk customer service skills are non existent if you have a problem and they can be abrupt at times TBH
Also, if you think this place might be for you stick to The Grande Villas Side. All their rooms have been refurbished to a high standard and have flat screen TVs and are nice and modern.... it's far nicer than the resort side.

The main thing for us is location and space. Having said all that, we are not staying there this Easter because the price was ridiculous. (£3000) Ha.....we don't like it that much!! However, based on location we have booked The Blue Tree resort next door. (£641.......no contest!) I will let you know what it's like when we get back. (Looks similar!)

Hope this helps if you have any questions I can remember most things so fire away :)

Just looked at the Blue Tree Resort, it looks really good. Quoted me £180 per night on their website and £52 on kayak. What is that about?

I'm looking ahead for next year at ways to stay off site more cheaply x

Our favorite is Silver lake resort and last year stayed at mystic dunes, would off added mystic dunes onto our stay this year only we couldn't get a 2 bed for our stay so went with silver lake again.
