I was planning on just taking my park ticket and a credit card and nothing else with me each day, but now I'll need somewhere for my half board vouchers, and I think I'd regret not taking water and painkillers in too.

Do most rides let you take a bag on? I'm more than happy to wrap it round my legs on loop the loop-ers.

I haven't been the DLRP for a few years, and my recent experiences at Universal Hollywood have made me realise those lockers waste a lot more time than I care to spend.

:tinker:

in my experience all the rides let u have bags on with u. i take a bag that can go over my shoulder (diagonally - if that makes any sense lol) then on the rides i can squash it next to me and still get the safety bars etc down, and thats usually with 2 bottles of water, a camera and mini fan in it!

We normally have a backpack with us, which I take onto rides if necessary.
On RnR I just put a leg through the strap as I put the backpack on the floor at my feet :)

I know exactly the type of bag you mean - in fact I think I can see it in your Picture! :cool1:

I just put the bag on floor or under my seat with my leg through the strap for most rides as you are not allowed to leave your bag unattended whilst you go on the rides.

we take a backpack with all the nappies, wipes, water, etc etc on all the rides. sometimes I keep it near my legs and all works fine.

lol thats the one. going for a slightly bigger one this year to make it easier to get my park tickets out!

Most have a little net bag thing that expands to store your bags, otherwise just loop it round your feet!

Careful of hats and sunnies, esspecially on ToT! I almost lost both last time!

OMG I remember riding on Space Mountain!
It was so scary I almost lost my bag :scared1:
But if you loop it round your leg, it should stay there I suppose. Unless you won't pull your legs up... :D :D

My god, the Universal "bag experience" is what has soured me towards their parks big time, spending nearly as much time waiting for lockers as on the rides, especially with Men In Black, which i have no idea why you cant take your bag on!!!

DLRP is fine tho, i can't think of any where you would fear for your bag

:goodvibes

It's the stupid finger-print recognition that wastes loads of time also! Grr, thank goodness for DLRP jsut letting people be sensible with their beolongings! Nobany WANTS to lose their bag after all!

Absolutely, it never recognises fingers straight away, and there's a lack of Universal CM's to help out leaving people to keep trying and trying their, understandably, sweaty fingers for the best part of 15 mins.

If the Simpsons Ride hadn't just opened i would maybe miss Universal out altogether in October

I don't know RnRC is the same as the one in Florida, but I know that Dbf took his rucksack on the ride, looped it around his feet, but still nearly lost it on the ride! :scared1:
He said that he would not take any kind of bulky bag on that ride again. Just thought I would warn you guys! :thumbsup2

Oh I don't forget to remove your sunglasses when going on rollercoasters :cool2: ...
We had them balanced on our heads and just forgot they were there, naturally we lost it on the ride, however the funny thing is we didn't notice we had lost it until a few hours later!:scared1: :lmao:
