Bags on rides question

I was wondering if I could pick your brains as to what is available to stow bags on rides like Rockin'Roller Coaster, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. Last time I was in Orlando, I spent time at Universal and used the free lockers there while riding, but I don't recall what the options are at Disney. Any help would be much appreciated! I am bringing a good friend to WDW for the very first time next month... She is sooo excited! :goodvibes

There are also lockers available for rent at WDW. I carry my DSLR in a sling bag with my credit cards, cell phone, money, etc. On most rides including RnR and Space mountain I just put it on the floor and wrap the strap around my leg. It also has a waterproof cover for Splash Mountain. ( I have never tried taking it on Kali at DAK) This works fine for me.

I no longer have small ones so I carry everything I need in a cross body bag that I take with me on all rides. Disney does have lockers near the entrance, but I do not recall seeing anything nears the attractions. I wear my KTTW on a lanyard around my neck, and everything else is in my cross body bag. Just bought a new camera, not sure if it will fit. I may have to make an adjustment for that.

I try to carry as little as possible into the parks, that is why I switched from a backpack to the cross body when the kids got old enough to be responsible for their own stuff.

I always take a small backpack or crossover bag with me, and I've never had a problem taking them on any rides - I always put my backpack down by my feet, and put my leg through the strap, and it's fine. And crossover bags I just keep on me and put down the side of the seat - just make sure sunglasses/cameras don't get squashed!

I may not be recalling correctly, but most of the rides have an area you can store things in ( it is small on most). Kali has a center console the zips, you should be able to fit a bag inside of it, Tot has under seat area, splash has a small pocket in front of you, but it is not large enough for a bag.

If I have a backpack too large to fit in the bag provided, I stick my leg through the arm and just put it on the floor. Never had an issue.

Just got back from Disney, and actually found that not using lockers (as is required at Universal) was more convenient than using them!

There are lockers at the park entrance if you would really like to stow your belongings. DBF and I had an Adidas backpack with us and always just stowed the bag at our feet. Some of the rides do have storage compartments, but for the most part our bag never fit properly.

We didn't mind having the bag near our feet for the rides- we just made sure to clamp down on it with our legs. Overall, I would rather use leg force to hold my bag then dealing with the crowds in those little locker areas at Universal anyways!

Enjoy your trip!
