Hey all, I am going with one other person this year and wanted some tips on bags/purses etc. I know some rides you can't take bags onto what do you do with them?
I carry a camalbak that is also a backpack, and the wife carries one of those, single strap across the chest backpack dealies. Many rides, especially the newer ones, have places for bags. On rides that don't, I put the bag on the floor and put the strap around my leg.
We get all packages sent either to the front of the park or our resort.
If you are talking about purses and backpacks as "bags" then there are places to store them on the ride with you. On a quiet ride, you can just hold them. If you mean gift bags, from souveniers, then you can hold on tight, wait and buy the souvenier as you are leaving, or have them sent back to your room if you are staying onsite.
I don't know of ANY rides at WDW where you can't take a bag with you. I carry a huge backpack and have never had any problems. I don't ride the biggest rides usually, but I am pretty sure I took it on SM, SpM, RnR and I know it went on BTMRR., and Test Track!
Either put it in the space provided or strap it around your leg and put it under your legs. It shouldn't be a problem.
If you are really worried about it then your best bet would be a fanny pack that you can keep attached to you at all times.
