Baggallini sling backpack, What do you have?

I really want to order one but I looked into it and because I live in Canada it will end up costing me $42 for the ripstop. I am torn because I think it would be great and I have heard so many great things about this bag. I went to the baggallini and looked up to see where they sell it in Ontario and they listed several stores but I called them all and none of them carry them anymore. What should I do????:sad2: It makes me sick to think that if I lived one hour away on the other side of the border I could have it for $21. Is there some store in Orlando area where I could purchase it when I get to florida??

As always thanks for you input.

Hi There

There are Bagallini messengers at Urban Traveller in Mapleviw Mall in Burlington. I don't know where you live but that is an option. The only problem is that they ar e$45.00 plus tax!!! You might as well order online and have it home delivered!!

Can you shop in the US like Buffalo. Another option is to have it shipped for free to a UPS store and they charge $5.00 to receive it and then you go and pick it up?

Good Luck as I am in the same boat as you!

Thanks. I did call mapleview and they said that they didn't have any in right now. I never thought of having it shipped to a UPS store though. What a great idea!:yay: I never thought of that. I couldn't bring myself to order it online last night because I haven't really gone shopping to see if there are some other options out there. I am really liking the UPS idea though. It only takes 20 minutes to get to the border from here so this sounds like the best plan. Thank a million for the wonderful IDEA!!!!

I got my olive crinkle nylon Baggallini yesterday - yippee! I really like the material and the design of the bag. It's a tiny bit smaller than I expected but that's actually OK so i don't overpack and get weighed down with too much stuff.
I only got to use it for one outing and I'll be interested to see how the buckle works out since it sits on my shouler as I have it adjusted now....need to wear it for longer with more stuff in it to really give a review.
But it's a really nice looking bag and I got it in about 5 days!

I'm happy for you.:cheer2: I can't wait till I get mine ordered. I think the UPS thing is going to work out. I have found a location very close to where I shop over in Niagara Falls,NY. I'm just waiting to here back from UPS to find out how to set it up. I am soooooo excited.:cool1: I think I am going to get the crinkle material too. Has anyone seen the steel blue?? It looks like a jean colour. I figure it will go with everything.

Thanks everyone for your wonderful input. I love the friends I have at DIS! :cool1:

Canadians - I bought this recently at my neighbor Zeller's store (mine is grey - it was the last one left in Newmarket but they are ordering more - I asked because I want to buy for my sis too).

Very similiar to the Baggalini and $22.97 CDN.

I have traded my big diaper bag in for it and started using it as my purse!
I LOVE IT!!!!

Thanks for the picture of this bag. I am definitely going to check it out. It looks like it might be a bit smaller than the baggallini but it might fit the bill.

That's wonderful new!!!:cool1: :cheer2:

I finally did it! I ordered myself a baggalini, I got the khaki crinkle messenger. :woohoo: I can't wait for it to come in. I hope I like it.

Okay. I am soooo jealous. I want one too!!! I am going to make a decision this week and order one so that I can join the baggallini club too.

Enjoy.:cheer2:

Neonurse, I told my DH last night I am now officially a true WDW tourist with my Crocs and Baggalini...what next?!?!:thumbsup2

Go on shoebuy.com or ebags.com type in baggallini (messanger bag) and read the comments. They seem to be compact yet has enough room to store all the essentials. They go across your chest and back not like a backpack. When you go on a ride you just pull it infront of you without having to take it off. I don't have one yet but have heard great things about them.:thumbsup2

I wore mine for the first time this weekend at the mall, its really comfortable and did not hurt my back at all!

yea! got mine (boring black to match my new mickey crocs) a few days ago thanx to the discounts posted.:thumbsup2 My DS begged me not to get lime green:lmao: .

I'm used to a fannypack:rolleyes1 ; got to the point where i wore it slung over my shoulder anyway so I figured why not try what everyone's been raving about?

Couple Q:

1) Are you supposed to wear the pouch part in the front or the back?

2) The metal buckle is already getting on my nerves where it rests on my shoulder. Any suggestions for "padding it"; if not - hope i get used to it before my trip.

I got one in black for Disney and also to replace my DD's diaper bag that I carry around. She's 3 now and I don't really need a diaper bag, but I do need a bag to hold extra underwear and pants in case she has an accident and some sippy cups. This looks perfect because I can put her cup in the mesh pocket.

I was always skeptical of this baggallini sling that everyone is raving about. Well last week I decided to order one as a birthday present to myself and I just received it. I have it in my hands now. Its bigger than a fanny pack but smaller than a backpack. Its 13"tall so you can easily fit a magazine or book or even diapers and wipes. I haven't used it yet so we'll see. I do love the look of it and it is truly hands-free. I got the red one.

I do like it so maybe I will keep it.
