I have heard on DIS many people talking about baggallini sling or messanger bags (type of backpacks). I am interested in what you have and what name. I don't know where to start. Last year I was the pack mule with a backpack which I hardly ever had over both my shoulders...bad for the neck & back. The reason I bought the backpack was because it had Mickey on it. I am looking for something back friendly and I am NOT going to pack EVERYTHING but the kitchen sink this time. I am grateful for your suggestions.:worship:

This is the one I have, in red. My dh bought it locally for me for Christmas. It was perfect for the parks. I kept our keys/tickets/photopass/fastpasses in the pocket in the strap. The main part was big enough for a few snacks, wipes, three autographs books and a change of clothes for my son. I liked the slots on the side for my cellphone and a bottle of water too.

I have that bag as well in turquise. I love it for the parks. I now take it every trip.

I have the same bag as the other 2 but in black. I bought it at my local AAA office. As a matter of fact I liked it so much I'm still using it as my purse since my last trip in Oct. !:thumbsup2

Thanks so much to you all. I was looking at that bag and wondering if that was what everyone is talking about. I'm going to buy one too!!:cheer2:

Thanks to my friends on DIS!!!!:thumbsup2

just ordered mine from ebags and used google checkout for 10 bucks off! I went with red :):)

I have the same in turquoise. I loved it. My best friend just borrowed it for her Disney trip and loved it also. I could pack a bunch of stuff in it. It is much roomier than it looks. I got mine from ebags.com.

Just received my black one from www.shoebuy.com
Obviously, I haven't used it yet in the parks, but I
have filled it up with some items and carried it around
the house. So far, I love it and it's the perfect size.
I will be using it for a digital camera, some snacks,
a water bottle, 3 disposable ponchos and a change of
clothes DD. All that will fit with room to spare.

Here are the details...
Shoebuy.com Price $ 31.45 (Rip-stop version)
Promo Discount -$ 10.00 (you can find this anywhere online)
Member Discount -$ 2.15 (sign up for their free membership)
UPS Ground Shipping FREE
------------------------------------- ---------
Total billed to credit card $ 19.30

Where did you find your $10 off code? The only one I could find (WNTRSALE07) only works on sale items, not these bags.
thanks

I think on the mousesavers.com I saw a link to ebags.com and you got a discount. I'm not sure if its a better deal or not than the $10 coupon for using the google check out. I will be looking into it. Thanks again to everyone for their comments.:thumbsup2

aha, just found the code: save10 for $10 off and it was a better deal than ebags.
Just ordered the olive green for my trip in 26 days! yippee! :cool1:

What is the best material for this bag? One is crinkle?? Is one lighter than the other or more durable???:confused3
HELP!!!

Many Thanks for posting on this, I have been trying to figure out what to use for our upcoming trip, My back was killing me with the backpack last year , so this will make things so much easier :wizard:
Plus, I ordered from shoebuy which I typically get overnight so I should be all set for my trip late next week...

Between the advice of getting crocs and now this I am set to enjoy my trip for sure this year :dance3:

all of you who ordered shoebuy I now see its a better deal, a dollar less and my shipping was free at ebags but it wont be here till feb 14, nice vday gift but longer than shoebuy.

next time I am asking where everyone got theirs first lol:)

I have three codes. One has already been mentioned.
SAVE10 - $10 off with no minimum
MSNAD10D - $10 off no minimum
VDAY07 - 20% off

HELP!!!

I don't have my bag yet but I know the rip stop nylon is a bit lighter weight and a "slipperier" feel which is why I got the crinkly nylon-it will slide a little less if it's like another bag I have with the same material.
I read 2 reviews that said the rip stop tended to slip off the shoulder which has been my experience as well with the slippery type fabric.

I'd assume the crinkle nylon is a bit heavier duty so may be slightly more durable but I think both materials are good quality.

I really want to order one but I looked into it and because I live in Canada it will end up costing me $42 for the ripstop. I am torn because I think it would be great and I have heard so many great things about this bag. I went to the baggallini and looked up to see where they sell it in Ontario and they listed several stores but I called them all and none of them carry them anymore. What should I do????:sad2: It makes me sick to think that if I lived one hour away on the other side of the border I could have it for $21. Is there some store in Orlando area where I could purchase it when I get to florida??

As always thanks for you input.

So do you have a friend in the US that you could have it sent to for the $21 then they could mail it you for maybe $8 or so...$30 is still better than $42 ;)
just an idea

Thanks, I think I am just going to order it. I want the crinkle material and they have it on shoebuy.com. WIth the $10 coupon and $15 paypal promotion on right now it won't be that bad (even though the rip stop is cheaper I heard that the crinkle is stronger and holds its shape better... for $7 more, might as well) Its funny I don't have this kind of trouble spending money on the kids for clothes and Christmas stuff...why is it so hard to spend money on me????:confused3 I,m doing it!!!:cool1:
