Baggallini Messenger Bag question...

I have this bag in two colors. I have used them at Disney for the past 3-4 years. It is perfect for me. It has plenty of pockets and organizers. I wouldn't want anything bigger because I wouldn't want to be weighed down with everyone's belongings all day.

That said, I'm only carrying my stuff, and maybe a few snacks/ sometimes 2-3 water bottles. It is definitely not a full sized back pack.

We will have our stroller so there will be room for some stuff in there. Do you think this bag is large enough to use as a scaled-down diaper bag? I won't be lugging a ton of stuff but do need room for a couple diapers/wipes, a sippy, sunscreen, and some water.

I've got this bag and I'd say it is purse size - def not what I'd call family sized.

Yes, it definitely works for a diaper bag! When my son was 18 months I carried it with diapers, wipes, small juice boxes and a special cap for the water bottles so he could drink from them. It had more than enough room

I agree! It's the size of a large purse. I bought one a few weeks ago on ebags, and am going to return it. It's too small for me, because I wanted to be able to put a lightweight jacket in it. Not big enough.

looks to be the same size (9" x 12" x 4") as:
http://www.amazon.com/Baggallini-MES160C-Messenger-Bag/dp/B000F5O0LA/ref=pd_sim_a_1
i have it in black, periwinkle, and khaki ripstop.
what i keep in mine:
- camera (in its case, extra battery and card)
- light jacket/sweater
- cc's, room key, passes, etc (in "wallet slots" - sometimes i put FPs, etc in zip section on strap for easy access)
- cel
- rental car keys
- candy :)
- water bottle in side pocket

when we go to AK, i also have a sham-wow (in plastic bag) for after kali river rapids.
there is always more than enough room -even when i wind up putting DH's wallet & water bottle in it, and sometimes a small umbrella.

it is about the size of a large purse, but is very organized, and easy to carry (i have back/shoulder issues, and these bags don't cause pain).

you are best off using the measurements to see if it will all fit, but from your list, i don't see any reason why they wouldn't :)

That sounds good to me so I just ordered one! Can't wait to use it, especially since I got one bag already that just didn't work out (for my short frame).

This has been my Disney bag for years, I have it in 2 colors. It's not huge, but it has a lot of pockets and fits a lot of stuff. I don't want anything too heavy to carry anyway. I can fit my wallet, sunglasses, camera, phone, a few 1st aid supplies, sunscreen, a water bottle and my lightweight jacket or poncho. I love the way it fits over 1 shoulder or as a cross body. It's small enough that it is not a problem on rides, and big enough to carry everything I need. I love it.

It's not only my DIsney bag, it's my "anywhere we go on vacation bag."

I love mine!!

I know this post was originated a few weeks ago, but, wanted to mention I found my Baggallini bag yesterday at Marshall's. Mine is a bright green - and the same bag as the one in the link to the Amazon site in the OP, and was only $19.99. So, if you have a Marshall's nearby, you might find this one in the store right now to see the actual size, AND save a few dollars. I got mine mainly to carry my ID, cellphone, money and camera - but as a mom - I will likely need to stuff a few other items in there for the kids too.

I purchased a different style Baggilini bag. I wasn't a fan of it. The material used for the shoulder strap was stiff & scratchy. I am going to replace the strap,if I use it again. Just a thought.

I used this bag for a few years and really liked it. Then I bought a smaller baggilini bag because I want to take even less into the park. Now I am bringing the bigger bag back out for a different trip I am taking. It will hold the water bottle, my kindle and all the rest of the stuff I want to bring. Plus, I like being able to carry it over my shoulder.

Just purchased one of these this week at my local Marshall's discount store and plan to use it with my family in Sept. It seems to be big enough for our purposes and would def be diaper bag capable. My ds5 and dd7 will have autograph books, etc and its big enough for us. :)
