I am going to purchase one on-line and it is sometimes hard to judge color and fabric? Any suggestions? Also ...I read on the bagggallini website that both fabrics are waterproof? What has been your experience? I am buying it through ebags.....no stores in Canada close to me sell them. MANY SUGGESTIONS WELCOME!!!! I have to order soon for a trip in May....I am embarassed to admit I am kinda excited about this bag...I LOVE to be organized.....:thumbsup2

I got one for our trip in January. I did really like it, although it is a little small - since we were there in January it got a little chilly at night and it is hard to put a sweatshirt/jacket in it. But for all the essentials it worked well. I want to say I got the rip stop. It never really rained on us so I can't help you there. I got mine in orange - it is BRIGHT!!! - but I love it. Also, I am short (5'0") so it kind of hung on me funny, but it wasn't uncomfortable.

Good luck!

Okay,I plead ignorance what exactly is a baggallini and where can I get one? I read a thread where someone said they were really glad they got one for their trip but I have no idea what it is but I am sure I want one for my trip.:rotfl:
Thanks!!!!!!

Same here Kata! And I read above how they help to organize and organization is my passion!!!! Is there a website?

I'm glad I am not alone.I was starting to feel kind of pathetic about really wanting something when I don't know what it is. I guess I should decide what color I want so I can order it when I find out what it is.

I got the aqua ripstop nylon bag. Maybe it's just because I'm short (4'11"), but it hangs odd/low on me. I don't think I'll be wearing this around WDW all day.

I got mine in Periwinkle ripstop. It is a really pretty purple/blue. I would also like to know how waterproof or not it is.

That is the color I got & I love it!

I used it for our January trip--I'm 5'1" & maybe it was little low, but it worked out perfectly for me. My only complaint is that I had the strap as short as it would go, but it would slip back down. I will definitely be using it on future trips.

For our trip it was me, DH, DS7 & DS3. We had our stroller, so we did have a bag in the bottom of it for drinks (shhh!), & had a few small things in the back of the stroller in a small organizer. When we didn't wear our coats DH took another backpack just to carry coats (only 3 times for EMH night & P&P).

I didn't ride any soaking rides with it (other than POTC that was wetter than I remembered pre-Jack Sparrow), but it did rain one day. It seemed like the rain (not a torrential down pour) rolled off & nothing inside was wet.

I got mine on Shoebuy.com for around $18 with a coupon & sign up discount, plus you can get a percentage back on several reward programs through Shoebuy.

Thanks for the link to the website. Are you all talking about the over the shoulder type of baggallini? I have no shoulders and am only 5 feet tall will I have trouble with it? I am also looking at the tote bags, they look great also.
Thanks!!!!!!!!!:)

Keep the comments coming!!!!! Thanks for your input everyone!!!! I hate buying stuff "blind". This is great!!!:thumbsup2 Hey...I just noticed....I'm a Mouseketeer!!!!!!!!!

Hi amycakes, I think we are all excited about getting baggallini's.
I can't decide which one or 2 I want.
Congratulations on being a mouseketeer!!!!!!:)

I have the exact same problem with the strap and I'm even shorter than you (4'11"). I am thinking that perhaps using a large safety pin to secure the strap in place may help. I still doubt I'll be using this around WDW all day.

Does anyone know if Baggallini makes a messenger bag? I couldn't find one on their website or on Ebags. I do really like the wallet.bagg though and may consider that.

I can't decide between the hot pink and the lime, but I KNOW I need one. :lmao:

just got my baggallini in and i ordered it in khaki (thinking it was pretty neutral)...am a little disappointed. It's more of a light army green in the ripstop but it'll do i suppose.

it looks like it'll be quite useful to have around!

I have two, I took both to Disney. I have the messenger in the ripstop hot pink, I found this bag to be the family catch all if I carried it. Everyone gave everything that they didn't want to carry. I also have the Large Wallet with the changeable shoulder strap, I carried it like a hipster bag, it is red ripstop. I actually liked this bag better. I could carry everything I needed and had no room for anything from anyone else. I forced my family to carry their own stuff or else make a decision that they didn't need it.

I have to ask this question because you guys are calling this a messenger bag. Where I come from, a messenger bag is a semi-large rectangular bag that hangs across the body and rests on one hip. I call this Baggallini a sling backpack. Do you guys wear this bag on your bag or on your hip? I've been wearing it on my back and the strap slips, pulls back on my shoulder, and is just overall very comfortable. It's putting way too much weight on my tiny little body hanging off just one shoulder like that. So are maybe some of you guys wearing it a different way? Because with the way I've been wearing it, I won't be able to wear it in WDW all day. I tried it in Atlantic City for a couple of hours and it was hell.

My green sequin Tinker Bell messenger bag, sparkle Tinker Bell shoulder bag (http://i16.ebayimg.com/02/i/000/96/23/a1bf_1.JPG), and blue Tinker Bell backpack are the likelier options for my next trip in May, despite my hopes for the Baggallini.
