At Disney! :cool1: Unfortunately my baggallini never arrived. :sad2:

Wow! What happened?

(I can't decide if I want to buy one, so I've been watching this thread, we leave in 11 days!)

Does anyone have experience using a baggalini on a plane?
I know, sounds ridiculous! :rolleyes1 But I've only seen pictures of the bag, not the bag on a person.
Is it small enough to be considered a "purse" by the airlines so that you can also take a carry on if needed? Or would it be considered the carry on? :confused3

I used one as a "purse" on the plane. The only downside is that there are a lot of zippers if you get pulled over by security. Luckily this didn't happen to me, but I imagine that it would take more than a minute for the security person to search the bag if you're flagged for it for whatever reason.

I used my Baggallini for our Sept. trip and I will never go back to a backpack again! It was comfortable to wear and not too big to stash on all of the rides. Everything I needed to carry fit in the bag.

I used the water bottle pocket for the whole trip and it was a VERY snug fit getting the water bottle in there, but it worked OK. My cell phone doesn't fit in the cell holder, so I kept it inside the bag.

Sorry for the long delay replying, just got back from our fabulous vacation! My order was delivered as my plane was taking off. It took 10 days to reach me. Maybe because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

I opened it up today, and it looks like it woud have been better than the bag I used. Oh Well! I had a great time without it.

I must be the only one. I hate mine.

I was glad I bought a drawstring backpack sack-style thing with 'just in case' - cuz just in case was every day.

I bought an Olive Green one... anyone interested? Used - one day. ;)

I bet I won't get mine in time. We leave Sunday. My expected delivery date is Friday 12/8. Didn't use express shipping either though. I am gonna have a great time with or without it !! Glad you had a great time.

I looked at the website but I'm completely overwhelmed by all the different ones to choose from. Which one do you recommend?

Anyone seeling a used one semi cheap? Im looking for one in any color. Im a college student on a tight disney budget.

So....can the bag hold a sweatshirt?

Anne

I was wondering the same thing, I decided to do a scientific experiment to find out :)

Baggallini and average sized sweatshirt, before. (Women's size large)

And after! Sweatshirt fit, with plenty of room for the Passporter!

Wow! That's good to know! Thanks for posting your findings. :goodvibes I hadn't even thought to check and see if a sweater would actually fit. I just automatically assumed it would.

I LOOOVE my baggallini! Ihave used it at Disney 2 or 3 times, and will be using it at Disney again next week. It is small, yet it holds everything! I have been to Disney quite a few times and have tried all types of bags, but nothing compares to the baggallini in my opinion.

At Disney:
3 Disney ponchos
large wallet
lots of kleenex
bodyglide
small camera
bottle of water
maps
lipstick
keys
glasses
a change of cloths for dd (shorts, t-shirt and undies in a ziplock bag)

At Panamá:
large wallet
passport
mp3 player
cell phone
bottle of water
liptstick
keys
small camera
glasses
small umbrella
AND a pair of shoes (was going to a concert and it was pouring, I hate wet shoes)
yep, all at the same time

So I will definetly be using it again for Disney, the only 2 complaints I have with my messenger baggallini bag are:
- the nylong fabric is very lightweight, but the metal parts are way too heavy
- I adjusted the shoulder part, but it kept sliding, I think I might try pinning or sewing it for next trip.

After reading about the Baggalinni's on DIS boards, I broke down and bought one of the Crinkle Nylon bags in Steel Blue.

Question: What is the difference between Crinkle Nylon and Rip-Stop? I went with crinkle because I liked the color choice.

I used Google checkout, and since it was my first non-discounted purchase I made since I joined Google checkout, I got it for $25 shipped! I'm soo excited to get it and try it out before my trip.

Thanks for the suggestion.

This will be my first trip to the world, but I've been to DL many times. Usually I try to go bagless, but I never get photos that way. This time, I'll be able to carry my digi cam and water bottles! And I can't wait to see if my sweatshirts fit, hee hee!

I've been looking at the Baggalini messanger bag and I have a couple of questions.

1. On the model, it looks like the bag is on her back. Is it easily accessable without taking it all the way off?

2. Will I need to take a wallet or does it have pockets for cash, cards, etc.?

Thanks for sharing all this info! I had more questions, but this thread answered them before I could ask! :)

1. Yes, it is accessible, there is no need to take it all the way off to get your things. When my shoulder got tired, I would hand it on the other shoulder and it was on my front.

2.- It does have pockets for cash and cards, but they are in one of the outside pockets, so I wouldn´t want to have my money that accessible, especially if I were having it on my back.

Julie - thanks for the response!

I decided to take the plunge and ordered a messenger bag today!
