For those that have the Baggalini's...are they waterproof?? How much stuff can you jam inside? Do you have to constantly take them off to dig down inside of them? Can you flip them around from front to back without taking them off?

My DD and I used our Baggalinnis the week before Easter and loved them! I found it very easy to just slide it around to the front to get things in and out or to have it in front while on a ride. It held all the junk (ponchos, umbrella, maps, snacks, etc.) as well as my Canon S3 camera with room to spare. The cross-body strap was comfortable for me as I cannot carry a shoulder bag due to joint pain. While I wouldn't count on it to keep things dry on Splash Mountain or Kali River Rapids, it did keep things dry in the rain.

I just got back yesterday ( :sad1: - already planning the next trip :goodvibes ) from my first trip with my Baggallini. In the past, I have always used a backpack. The Baggallini was just as great as everyone on these boards has said. For me, the best feature is the small zip compartment on the front strap. I kept my park tickets, fast passes & room card in there so I rarely had to go in the other compartments. But it is roomy enough for me to have carried my change purse, 2 small sunscreens, 2 cameras, Purell and tissues - with room to spare. And if I did need to access the main compartments I just moved it around to the front. I only took it off to stow it for rides like KRR, Soarin, etc. It isn't realyy waterproof but it's nylon so if it gets a little wet it's fine. We had one real rainy day and I wore my Mickey poncho and the bag was under it - and I could get to all the compartments without having to take off the poncho!

Since this really isn't a "how do I use the DISboards" question, I'm going to move it from the Welcome board to the Community board.

I'm sure you'll get a lot more helpful responses there. :)

I used my Baggalini the first day only back in Sept of last year. I got a lot of things in there, but I guess I don't have, uh...enough cushion up front to keep the strap from rubbing. After about an hour, I had a sweat mark crossed up the front of me and I felt chafed. I used my fanny pack as a shoulder pack after that. I have an extra teal one if anyone wants it!

I would be interested in buying your bagallini. How much do you want for it? I have been looking at them for a while now, but just have not got around to purchasing one. You can PM me

Thanks so much for the information! Is there enough room to stuff a poncho along with everything else? I'm so glad you can easily get into the bag without having to take it off even while under a poncho! It never fails, it always rains whenever I go on a vacation no matter where we go. So, a poncho in the bag is a must! LOL

Hmm, I've been intrigued by the baggalinis at shoebuy.com...but I wanted the teeney bag and that just might be too small...anyone have pics of them with their baggalinis?

I bought a bagallini for our last trip. Loved it. But would rather be my DH who gets to carry nothing.

Which one seems to work the best? I am also interested in purchasing one for our upcoming trip. I don't want something too large, just enough to hold the basics and digi cam and cell phone.

Opps, forgot about the waterproof thing. I don't recall anything getting wet but I DID keep a ziplock in there that I put my camera in during wet rides. Just a hint, I bought mine brandnew on Ebay for less than half price. :thumbsup2

a lot of different styles:

they come in other colors, I just posted lime green b/c this is the DIS, after all...

I checked into these probucts some time back. The reviews I have read weren't promising. I found that a local store carried this brand and thought ok, I'll go see for myself. Come to find out the store had stopped carrying it, because people kept returning them with problems.

I went with Vera Bradley instead. I love my little purse and I'm thinking of investing into something bigger.
