We fly from Detroit to Orlando with Delta. Once I check in my luaggage off in Detroit I don't have to worry about it until we get to all star movies. Is this correct?????

If you are taking Disney's Magical Express, that is correct. Make sure you attach the ME luggage tags to your bags.

Also.....when you tag your checked bags with the yellow DME tags, you should plan on not seeing them again for up to 3 hrs after your resort checkin. So, with that in mind....pack carryon bags with anything you may need to start your fun.
That's a good practice to follow on any flight...if the airline misdirects a bag, you may not get it until the following day..so it's always a good idea to have stuff you need for the first day or so in a carryon bag.
And be sure you make that DME reservation..you can't just show up and get on the bus.

Yes, as long as you are using DME and attach the luggage tags as mentioned by a PP. Also note that if your flight arrives after 10PM, you will need to retrieve your bags yourself at MCO before boarding DME.

All good advice from posters, even though I don't breathe easy until my luggage is in my room, it's the best service, drop it off at the airport you are flying out of and it 'magically appears" a few hours after check in!

But you are using Magical Express as part of your Delta Vacations package right? If so, and if you arrive before 10:00 p.m, then yes, you will check your bags at the airport and they will be delivered to your room within three hours of your arrival into MCO.
