We enjoy Grounds Bakery Cafe. (http://groundscafe.com/). It's on Spring Street, about 4 miles (east) from LGB. If you drive straight out on Spring, it'll take you to Disneyland. Great bagels, sandwiches, cookies -- and really nice people!
