Hi,

Upcoming split stay at Swan and then GF. Would like to go Epcot the day we check out Swan/check in to GF. Anybody know if:
1. If we leave our bag with Swan bell services will they take it to GF
2. If I can't leave the bag at Swan; Could I drop the bag off at Yacht bell services on our way to Epcot?

It's just luggage / no food or meds.

There seems to have been a few problems post-Covid with the bag transfers between Swan/Dolphin and WDW resorts. I know they will do it from a WDW resort to Swan/Dolphin but not sure about the other way. Your best bet would be to contact Swan/Dolphin directly and ask them. There is a thread on this board for them that is pretty active that has all the contact numbers.

No, I don't think you will be able to leave them at YC. You could always leave them at bell services at Swan and when you are done with Epcot, pick them up and Uber over.

I had Swan transfer my bags to CSR in Sept, no issues. Just take your suitcases to Bell Services and tell them where you want them transferred. Yep, things can go wrong- but I think that’s the exception, not the norm. Like most things, someone always has a horror story.

Don’t waste time confirming with Swolphin Guest Services about luggage transfer. They told me on the phone on check out day they didn’t do that and then I asked Bell Services and they did it no issues.

FYI, bags aren’t available until like 4pm or something at your destination resort so if that part matters or you have to have your bags for a nice dinner or something be safe and take them yourself on a rideshare/taxi after EP.

I'm so glad to have found this thread. I was reading that others stated the Swan and Dolphin resorts didn't do luggage transfers. I was planning to do a split stay with Animal Kingdom Lodge in Late March for 3 nights and then transfer over to Swan/Dolphin for another 2 nights. I was beginning to think I would have had to Uber between the hotels to get my luggage moved over. Now I can book the Swan without these concerns.
