Hi there. While I'm not new to reading post, I am new to posting. October will bring my 7th trip to Disney World. I 've been there as a couple with no bags, a mom with 1 child and a backpack, but this year will will have three kids with us. I want to bring bare minimum to the parks but always think of what we "might" need.
I haven't had luck with typical backpacks in past trips. I am considering the Vera Bradley Hipster but think it may be too small.
My main question is this, how durable is the Disney Cinch bag?

Thanks! I love reading all of your insights! princess:

Can't comment on either bag, but are the kids old enough to carry their own small backpacks? Ours started doing this a few years back. Before that they had fanny packs that had a side mesh pocket that held a small water bottle nicely. Now they use small back packs from walmart $7. They carry their own water bottles, snacks, poncho and whatever else they thing they need for the day. I have a backpack with my water bottle, snacks, camera poncho, wipes, hand sanitizer and whatever else we might need. I also have a small cross body purse because I like to have our tickets and $$ handy and on my person.

Good luck finding a bag that fits your family's needs. I always felt that once I found the "right" bag, I was set!;)

I did WDW last year with a Vera Bradley Hipster and a cinch bag.

In my VB was my cell phone, cash, credit cards etc (basically atm, room key & 1 other card), a sunblock stick (for on the go touchups), point & shoot camera, then any other room left on the inside was crammed with wet naps.

The outside pocket was the perfect size for my daughter's autograph book. (If you need to have three of those, it probably wouldn't work)

Inside the cinch sack was just a change of clothes for my daughter & sweaters if we thought it was going to be cold. My only caviat with the cinch sack was don't put anything in there heavy (the straps will cut into you after a short while) and don't put anything in there you need to get to in a hurry.

I have used the Disney cinch bag for all of our Disney trips the past 4 years, and I love it. The newest cinch even has two compartments now. My biggest complaint is you have to reach in and search around for things, but I use plastic baggies to group things and this helps. The bag is so comfortable and even my husband will carry it for me. I have two other high dollar bags that I have tried and I keep going back to my Disney cinch. Good luck deciding.

I am looking for a back pack of sorts we are going to Dc in June and I have to carry bottles of liquid meds for my son who has Epilepsy. Where do I go for the bag mentioned? I have always used regular back packs at Disney . I try to find ones with padded shulder straps because after a while they dig into me .I hope others can be more helpful ..

I bought the small black DisneyWorld backpack a few years ago in the park and have used it for every trip since. It has a cinch top but it also has padded straps and a small zipper compartment inside. It costs about $30 and I've also seen it on the Disney shopping site.

I'm partial to my Thirty One bags :-)
I use my organizing shoulder purse b/c it is comfy and not too big or bulky...and I bring drinks & snacks in my Thermal Totes...and for my little bit, I bring her personalized cinch sac with her diapers & wipes in a zipper pouch...to hang on the stroller. :-)
