I'm heading to WDW in 198 looooong days (can you tell that I'm just a tad excited?)!

It's a pretty big deal for me because it will be my first solo trip. A lot of things have also changed since I last went in 2010...especially with the Magic Bands and FastPass+. I'm excited (and a bit intimidated) to experience these.

Anyhoo...I'm looking for a good bag to take with me to the parks. Something to hold my phone, park maps, a snack, a bottle of water, etc. I've been perusing Amazon and have decided that I definitely want a waterproof crossbody bag, not too bulky, and preferably theft-proof.

I've found some bags from the Travelon company and would consider one of those, but I would like to hear/see what others bring to the parks. So, if you would like to share, please do! TIA!

I just got a black Swiss crossbody from Target for about $25. I'm not sure that it's totally waterproof, but I haven't seen any good waterproof bags anywhere I've looked (including Amazon). This bag is the perfect size and I plan to keep a plastic grocery bag in it to cover during wet rides.

I've been in pursuit of the "perfect disney bag" for the last 7 years and this is the best I've found so far.

I use my disney dooney and bourke backpack. It is the perfect size.

My favorite is the Baggalini Messenger bag. it's made four Disney trips now and I wouldn't trade it!

I have a cheap pleather (so, water resistant?) crossbody bag from H&M that's become my favorite to carry. It's super lightweight and has enough room for a small wallet, my phone and a lightweight cardigan, but it's small enough to not be a bother on rides like Everest and Space Mountain.

I got the Bagallini Everything Bag. For me, it was perfect for everything I needed to carry plus its waterproof. I think it was around 65-70 bucks via Amazon.

some days I carry my Dooney & Bourke disney crossbody and have a small umbrella that has a clip that I attach to the side. Other days I carry a cheap clear plastic small backpack that I probably bought at Wal-mart (that is the days I need a sweater as well as a poncho). Other days I carry a cross-body I got years ago at AK that looks sort of like a messenger bag, that sucker holds a sweater, an umbrella/poncho, a water bottle, my glasses, my cell phone, some pain meds, bandaids and anything else small I need to throw in. The bag checkers love the clear backpack because you don't have to open it but it does get a bit warm on my back. Some days I get all wild and crazy and stick my glasses in a mickey head necklace I bought years ago, stick my cell phone in my shorts pocket and attach the umbrella onto my belt loops. I rarely wear shorts, most of the time I wear sundresses so the not having a bag of any kind doesn't work since they don't have pockets.

I use a Vera Bradley Messenger, I wear it crossbody. It's the best, has so many little pockets on the outside to put stuff and then when I get home I wash it for the next trip. Not waterproof though but I just wear it under the poncho or whatever.

If you aren't worried about spending a little bit of money, there is a really good Swiss Army backpack that we own. It has a lot of pockets and storage space for all the things you would need to bring to the parks.

My perfect bag at the moment is a small Crumpler bag (just checked - it's a "Free Wheeler Sling M"). It's pretty much waterproof (after cycling in the rain the inside is still dry), really light, and cross body. My bag is probably also pretty theft-proof as it closes with both velcro and a 3 prong clasp (and velcro is an amazing deterrent to thieves as it makes so much noise!).

I'm not sure if this bag is still available or even if it's available in the US (I'm not in the US) but might be worth taking a look at Crumpler bags?

I have the Baggallini Messenger Bag(ordered from ebags) and have used it at Disney and loved it!! I also have a Travelon Boarding Bag that I ordered from Overstock.com and recently used on a cruise and loved it also!
We will be at Disney in June and I havent decided which we will use but we just ordered my Mom the Baggallini Messenger Bag in a darker brown and its really nice!!
