bag question

I've seen a lot of posts about what bags people carry into the parks, and I have my eye on several of the favorite ones. Thanks for the tips!:thumbsup2 My question may have been answered before, but I can't seem to find it. I haven't been to Disney in 10 years, and never with my child, so I'm trying to figure out what is possible with whatever bag I choose to carry.

Can bags like the Bagalini be carried onto the rides? I want to remember that most of the rides can accommodate a bag just fine, but I'm wondering if there are any that can't.

I'm not a big fan of leaving my valuables behind, and I'd rather leave the bag behind in the room or put it in a locker than deal with being separated from it and worried about it the whole time I'm on a ride.

Most WDW rides are not thrill rides and can accomodate small and medium-sized bags between your feet pretty well.

The most restrictive ride I can think of is Rock and Roller Coaster, which is a modern steel coaster with shoulder bar restraints and not much foot room; I can fit my utility belt between me feet, but I'd have a lot of trouble with even a small backpack.

:) I put my VB mini hipster between my legs on RnR--and squeeze:rotfl:

I kept my Bagallini with me on all the rides and just slid the shoulder strap down so it wasn't pulling on my neck with the bag on the seat beside me, no problems at all. Of course, I never did get on Rock'n Roller coaster so I can't speak to that. I can tell you it was fine on Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and Tower of Terror.

I've used a standard size backpack (maybe 14" x 10" x 3" ??), you know kind of a standard college / hs type backpack.

I've been able to ride all rides. On those that are thrill rides, I just loop the strap thru my leg, then hold b/t my feet.

I don't think you'll have any issues w/ the baggalini!

Have fun! Isn't it funny how much we think about these bags??? When we are in a store, I'm like, ooooh, and dd is, "Just step away mom, you have enough bags, mom." :rotfl: But this one might just be the PERFECT bag! :rotfl:

Thanks so much for the information! I'm probably getting the Bagalini, and it's good to know that it will work. Thanks!:cool1:

You shouldn't need to leave your bag anywhere. Rides like Soarin, safari ride, etc. have a mesh pocket either in front of or under your seat to stow a smaller bag like the Baggallini in.

I use the bagallini bon voyage. The strap is long enough so that it goes across the chest and can be tucked next to you. Never had a problem. On rides like Soarin or Kali it's small enough to just tuck in the ride's storage area. Holds alot also.

Thanks a bunch folks for the good info:)
Now that our girls are older, everyone has their own fanny pack and I can finally keep up with their long legs with my short ones  as I don't have to carry a backpack like I did when they were young.
