bag check

It's been years since we last went to Universal (IOA wasn't even started yet ) and we are going this Saturday.

Is bag check similiar to WDW? Will we be allowed to bring in a couple of bottles of water?

The bag check from the Universal parks was removed from the front gate of the parks and placed at the entrance of Citywalk which leads to both parks.I like it better that way since if you're going to park hop between the parks you don't need to get it checked again.I haven't had a problem bringing in water bottles to the parks.

Along with water you can pack a lunch also..
DOOM they checked our bags at CW and the park the last time we went..
The only thing we bring is our camera bag..Heck they even wanted too see whats in my cell phone case..
I guess it depends on the day!!

Thanks for the quick responses. Sounds like it is set-up the same as DL/DCA. Always nice to not have to go through it again to switch parks

BUT....you have to finish your alcoholic beverage in the park/place you bought it.

If bought in IOA, must finish it before leaving IOA.

If bought in CW, can't enter a park w/ it.
