Bag check in the morning (east side)

Last year in Jan/Feb when I stayed in a hotel East of the park, the bag check line was a good 30+ minutes each morning. Even when arriving really earlyz before park opening.

Is it still that bad?

No, the remodeled security set up opened in March. Outside of super-duper crazy busy days, it's been moving more quickly. They are even starting to do security screenings at the Toy Story parking lot before passengers board the bus on more busy days. Once those passengers are screened they enter through a separate entrance once they get off the bus.

As the pp said, the Harbor bag check was expanded last year. Since then, there has been a notable lack of "I hate the Harbor bag check!" threads on this board.
