Best to go bag free at DL?
Ok, good. We will be bag free then. I've done it at DW before and loved it. Avoiding bag check would be a plus too.People bring bags, but I personally prefer not to. I don't like to worry deal with bag check nor lug it around. For me, if it won't fit in a pair of cargo shorts, it's not coming with me.
If you can do that and make it work, that would be ideal. Just 1 less thing to keep up with. Also keep in mind that you can rent a locker if you do decide to bring a bag (for something you may not need all day like a picnic lunch or something like that). Inside the park, lockers are available for $7 and $10 per day. Outside the park (Esplanade), lockers are available for $7, $10, $12 and $15 per day. You get unlimited access throughout the day to the lockers. What I use inside the park is a crossbody sling bag. It's hands free and doesn't get in my way. I like having the sling bag for my snacks, water bottle, pocketbook, phone, etc.Best to go bag free at DL?
Where are you staying? I've heard people report intermittent use of bag free lines at the Disney hotels, but it doesn't seem to be regular or consistent.Bummer there's no bag free line to check in. Oh well.
We would be at the HJ across the street.Where are you staying? I've heard people report intermittent use of bag free lines at the Disney hotels, but it doesn't seem to be regular or consistent.

Wow! Where was it?They had a bag free line Saturday at the parking garages - first time I saw that in ages.

Do you have to take it off for rides that have lap bars, or can you just scoot it up out of the way while it's still secured around your shoulder?I used to carry a full backpack but have recently switched to this crossbody bag and absolutely love it.
But there isn't a bag free line at DL...at least not from Harbor entrance...you can get through faster for sure but you still have to wait your turn. It would be nice if they did that but alas...Yes, going bag-free at Disneyland is convenient. You don’t have to wait in the bag check line, it’s easier to move around, and there’s less hassle. If you can manage with just your phone, money, and MagicBand – it’s better without a bag. But if you need water, snacks, or personal items – take a small one
Ditto for me...can't go wrong with a Lougefly although I've grown fond of this guy...Pooh liked him too! Plus he's a good companion!I like to have a bag. I'm a big fan of my backpack purse--it's small, easy to carry around, and can hold all the little items I like to have with me as well as my travel wallet and phone. I take lip balm, purse-sized brush, rubber bands, some ziplocs, a pen, a sharpie (if I have a gift card so I can note the balance), mints, and maybe some small snacks.
