Thanks, Phyllis!! We've had the typical rainy day....light showers then..., heavy torrential downpours, back to light, return to heavy....right now, it's just a nice, steady rain. We need this so badly, so I'm very happy today. This weather will also mean a long, boring night at THD. Rain= no customers. They think they'll melt if they get wet - or for some of them, they might risk getting clean for a change!!

Indeed! I once spent 2 days of downpouring rain by myself in a 3 person dome tent in the woods of VT. Ahhhhh.......

Unfortunately while light rain is lovely in our hybrid TT, heavy rain sounds like someone is dumping truckloads of ping pong balls on us.

Just had a tornado warning here...dumb me was out in the middle of it looking for a school folder that blew away...

I just should have turned the TV on and figured out why I was being blown down the street...(it would have been a lot easier, ya think?)

Come on down!! I ususally work 5-9:30 during the week (3 nites-varies) - although starting next week the store starts staying open until 10 which means by the time we get everything closed out, I'll get home by 11:00.

How are things going?

At the moment, our store (0248) is slammin' busy. That will slow down in May, pick up again in June & slow down again by July. How's your store doing?

Yesterday was a busy day around here, because at 8:50am a tornado was spotted heading this way. I was truely blessed as it missed my home, the barn and the office I work at in Wesley Chapel, however folks in the Saddlebrook Resort weren't so lucky. I hope Gatordad didn't get any major wind damage.

Then lucky me had a conference at a hotel on Universal Blvd schedule for that same afternoon, so at 10:30am I met up with a co-worker and in the rain we headed out to I-4. It was such a stressful morning due to all the bad weather we decided we needed a "Disney" lunch break to relieve some of the stress. So, we went to Port Orleans Riverside and had Grilled chicken sandwiches, fries and a giant chocolate chip cookie and no we didn't share. I picked up some Disney coffee for hubby and also a Rice crispy marshmellow Mickey treat for me for later. I love those, especially the chocolate covered ears.
Anyway, the guests seem to be braving the weather just fine (though we did notice that traffic around Disney was extremly light) and the all castmembers that we encountered were friendly and just the "pixie" dust we needed. The day got much better after that.

Looking forward to going back here shortly.
