Bad service with dining plan??

rude service has nothing to do with the dining plan imo...some servers are just rude. we have eaten at disney probably close to 100 ts meals and have had 2 rude( very rude though) and 1 very poor ( neglectful rather than rude) server...i am sure the free dining plan and places being extremly busy brings out the worst in an already bad server but like i said , they were bad already

We were there Sept 17th-24th during the free dining and overall had excellent service. The only bad service we had was at San Angel Inn. We finished our drinks with our appetizers and despite asking three other times and my son finally getting up and going to the waiter at another table we never did get drinks. They also refused to let me use my DDE card for my meal, while my son and D-I-L used the free dining. They said only one discount was allowed per table and refused to allow us to get seperate tickets. We also had the rude waitress at CRT that everyone has talked about in the past. She doesn't like the new dining plan and was very vocal about it. She acted very put out when my D-I-L asked for some more potatoes and my son asked for more danish. When she brought us our ticket and we told her we hadn't seen Aurora yet, she said that since we didn't have any kids with us Aurora probably thought we wouldn't mind, as the Princesses' were there mainly for the kids.

At all the rest of the restaraunts we had excellent service. Believe it or not the best service we had was at Cap'n Jack's. I know it gets mixed reviews on here, but the night we went, both the food and service was excellent. I know it added to her tip, but the waitress made sure we maximized the dining plan, even offering free lobster add ons. She also made sure our glasses never got below half full.
