Bad Service From Tiffany

Hi All, I've used Tiffany several times with great success. I used them recently two weeks ago and had poor service. The driver didn't offer his name after I introduced my whole family. I should have asked him his name but was taken aback by his lack of "friendlyness". During our drive he offered no conversation and spent half the time on his cell phone on one personal call speaking in Indian, I believe. He didn't try to stop the call at all and spent 15 minutes talking while not doing a great job of driving. When he was finished with the call he did not apologize or mention anything. I did e-mail Tiffany but haven't recieved a response yet.
This is not meant to stear people away from Tiffany as I've had great service in the past. Every company has problems once in a while. I feel all reports are important, not just the good ones.

We've always used Tiffany as well but lately I have seen a large increase in poor service by them. I just reserved with FL Tours for fear Tiffany may be taking a turn for the worse

We just used Tiffany this week (arrived 12/22, came back yesterday) and we had the most wonderful, amazing service I've ever seen, and as a former flight attendant I've seen a LOT of poor towncar/shuttle service in my life.

Sorry to hear that your experiences weren't too great. Just consider for a moment that maybe the driver was having a bad day, family crisis, etc.

We have had only great service from Tiffany, but perhaps it was this particular driver. I am glad you emailed Deb at Tiffany to let her know. We always request Berkley and he is absolutely the best. I would give them another shot after Deb speaks with you. Thanks, Carolyn from NJ

Ohhh dear thats not a great service - i've used Quicksilver Tours and transportation before and found them very good.

we used Tiffany - Tomas was our driver...
he was waiting for us at baggage claim when we got there on 12/20, and was waiting for us Christmas morning at POR when we got to the lobby.
we were happy!

Hi all,
since I've started this thread, I've recieved no response from Tiffany. I do understand that sometimes drivers have bad days. But to ignore a comment, or complaint, from a customer is not good business. I would suggest that the management is not taking care of it's issues with their customers. This is usually not a good thing. I have no problem with booking with another town car service when I'm at WDW.

Thanks,
Eddie Valliant

We just returned from five days at WDW over New Year's and we had a great experience with Tiffany. We used their towncar service for our round-trip between the airport and the Hilton WDW. The driver (Carlos) was friendly and helpful. He was waiting for us at baggage claim even though our flight arrived early, and he picked us up right on time for our return trip to the airport. It couldn't have gone any smoother.

They have a toll free number. Call and ask for management. Be nice, but because they failed to respond gives you leeway to be more firm in expressing your disappointment. Nonresponse is no excuse!

Where was the bad service? Did you get picked up on time? Did you arrive safely? The drivers are there to take you from one point to another, not to entertain you. If you wanted to know his name you should have asked him.

I could see how someone talking on a cell phone for 15 min in a different language could be annoying. But I would not label that bad service.

Well, I hope this gets resolved to your satisfaction. Although I personally would not have considered this to be bad service, the driver was not friendly, but you got where you needed to go on time right?
I do not generally carry on much of a conversation with the driver, I just confirm where I am going and when I will be picked up, but then that is me, I am a bit anti-social around people I do not know so if the driver does not carry on a conversation with me I do not feel offended.

I use town car service in many cities for work on a regular basis. If the driver is talking on the phone and you don't want him to you have the right to ask him to please not personal calls on your time and to please keep his mind and hands on the wheel. You also have the right to ask that the radio be on/off and the same thing with the A/C. If you are not happy speak up right then and there. I have no qualms asking a driver to please refrain from making personal calls. I am paying for his time to drive me safely to my destination.
