Bad news always comes in threes...

First, I lost my job in November and it took me 5 months to find a new one. That was #1.

Then, two weeks ago I was involved in a fatal car accident. That was #2.

Now, I find out today that I've lost THIS job and will be let go on the 18th of this month.

*Sigh* What is next? I know God has a purpose in his mind with all of these challenges he places in front of me. I'm just not sure if it's to see how much of my hair I can pull out.

My only suggestion is have you considered moving the the Twin Cities? The Metro area and Olmsted County in SE MN both have low unemployment rates. Olmsted County was just rated #2 best small county in the U.S. for quality of life.

Sometimes it does seem we are sent more than we can handle. But I look at tests as stepping stones and each one I pass I get stronger. Here's hoping that things look up for you real soon. Hang in there and keep your chin up!!

Second, I remember having a phase of bad luck like that. I disctinctly remember saying, "I know God never gives us more than we can handle, but how much more does he think I can handle?!?" Unfortunately, God had a few more surprises for me. Fortunately I managed to get through them. Life is good again.

I am not an overly religious person, but I do believe that God has a plan for me, and I am not privy to it until it happens.

I'm so sorry that so much has happened to you lately, Jeff. Sometimes God's plan really is hard for us to see. I just went through 3 months of unemployment myself, and it's definitely no fun. But, I do think that it can lead to a much better situation for you. Hang in there!
