Bad News About WDW In-Park Quests

I was at the park this weekend and I just got back today. VMK announced the retirement of the Fantasyland Quest, but they failed to mention that a few more are gone forever. I was given the last two Fronteirland Quest Prizes at VMK Central and thats not all. There were no more Tomorrowland and Adventureland quest prizes either. But, they said they received the Limited Edition Window Cards and there were other in-park quests that will be released within the next two months. Yay!!!

I have no Idea when the new quests will be released. The ones that are gone are under my list in the first post.

Actually, this isn't new news for the DLR folks: the only quests we've had are Animation and Pirates. Not sure about Tomorrowland, since I printed the WDW by accident.

I was in Magic Kingdom this past Friday (the 16th), and the CM had told another CM they were running out of the Frontierland cards, so this doesn't surprise me. I was able to do the Animation Quest, High School Musical, Thrill Seekers, Frontierland (although there was no card for the quest pin; just a card for credits instead), and the Pirates quest. They were having massive issues with their computers as well. Most of them were down, and the one I finally found that worked took me almost 30 minutes just to create a new character, it loaded that slowly.

Today was the final day to receive the Tomorrowland cards at Disneyland, and that was only if you were lucky enough to have printed out the quest before yesterday, since the link is gone from the VMK site.

There are no more prize packs. The only cards (and codes) you get are the ones for the quests still running and PDFs that they still honor.

I hope they can get some new Quests out for WDW soon. My family and I are going down the begining of April. My fingers are crossed!!

If this has already been posted then please say so but at the park they are revaming adventureland and fantasyland quests.I was jokeing with my mom that last time the rubber band almost snapped and this time I got nine cards.Just a little update.

I think it's sad that they discontinued/ran out of original quests and are not prepared with new ones to replace them. And that they have the rugs, but will not hand them out (probably because it's not "officially" Spring) to all the disappointed players already out the regular quest cards. Many people take 6-12 months planning for their trip, booking air and hotel far in advance and saving up. Not everyone lives a couple hours drive away with an annual pass. It's not rocket science to realize you are running low on some cards and may need to print a few thousand more to get through the months until the new stuff is ready. Best wishes to those hoping for new stuff in their upcoming trips!
