We went to Le Cellier last Friday, May 16 for our 8:10 reservation. We had to wait a little longer because the girl out front said that they were running 20-25 minutes behind.. which was no problem.
Once we went inside the waiter came up to us and introduced himself and spoke of what part of Canada he was from..etc. So we ordered our drinks and he asked if we were on the Dining Plan and we said yes and soon after saying that it's like his whole personality changed. We ordered 2 cups of the cheese soup as appetizers, knowing that we would pay out of pocket.. again, no problem.
However, he never came back to fill up our drinks the entire time we were there... he came to the table beside us two and three times and filled their drinks.. we eventually had to ask a random waitress walking by if we could get more drinks. After we ate we waited for our bill and he brought it back and explained that the tip wasn't included (which we already knew). My boyfriends father put the tip inside the sleeve as well as his Key to the World card.
This is where it gets tricky.. we waited on the guy to bring us the card back and after he did we left. Later on that night My boyfriends father & mother went to the bakery in France and tried to get a pastry and his Key to the World card wouldn't work.. so they left and went back to the hotel and the card wouldn't work in the door either. Neither of them thought to look at the card because I mean you're a Disney.. who thinks they would goof up? The final day, Saturday, we were ordering breakfast at the hotel before we left and my boyfriend looked down at his Dad's card and noticed the name wasn't the same.. the guy at Le Cellier gave us the wrong Key to the World card.. so we went to the front desk and explained and she called someone and said that the person on our card had already cancelled it and received a new one.
I know it is somewhat our fault for not looking at the card when we received it.. but I also felt that the waiter at Le Cellier should have been doing his job a little better.
The food was great though.. the soup, pretzel breadsticks, and I ordred the mushoom filet mignon without the mushroom sauce and I substituted the risotto for the cream cheese mashed potatoes.. the filet was so tender I was able to cut it with a fork! I would go back but pray that we got a different waiter! haha
