Bad Behavior in Club 33

I decided to get in and take some pictures tonight, while Club 33 is still open to everyone. (Not real happy about more exclusiveness in VMK, but I won't go into that here.)

What I found was appalling. Here was this beautiful formal dining room overlooking New Orleans Square, but do you think players were on their best behavior? No; several of them were throwing insults back and forth. I was trying to take my screen shots and get out of there.

VMK_Lion had to come in at one point to warn about speaking inappropriately in private messages. I was amazed he did not just ban whoever was doing it on the spot.

Maybe it's not such a bad thing for staff to reserve this room for those who can demonstrate they have earned the privilege. After the horrible manners I witnessed tonight, it's a wonder if they ever open it to any of us!

I finally got around to seeing it tonight, and I agree. I saw some rude behavior myself. Some other things happened as well, but I plan on making a separate thread for that when I get a chance to write it out fully. A preview: No, VMK players, Yavn did NOT FOUND THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY!!! And Walt was not a figurehead, either!

I finally got around to seeing it tonight, and I agree. I saw some rude behavior myself. Some other things happened as well, but I plan on making a separate thread for that when I get a chance to write it out fully. This does not seem to be new, I have seen several kids repeating this or something similar to this several times this week.

Not sure but I do not think Yavn was even born yet when Walt started Disney Corp.

Another variation of this rumour is that Yavn owns VMK. He may in a sense own a part of VMK not sure what his "deal" with Disney is about ownership of VMK. Yavn works for Disney...

Yes, I was there when this happened. Actually, he asked who the person was in the picture. I smiled and told him it was Walt Disney. But others in the room were very unkind, telling him things such as "You don't deserve to even have a VMK account"! I could not believe the rudeness. So what if the poor kid had never seen a picture of Walt Disney?

Yesterday, when I was in Club 33, I just wanted to take a picture of me sitting at one of the tables. One of the players in there started a "line" on the carpet and told everyone to dance... which made my computer very slow. I politely asked them to move and to please stop dancing so I could take a picture. One of the people in line acted like the "leader" of everyone in the line, and said "no!! everyone dance". They wouldn't even let me take one picture?

Oh, and let's not forget the guy in the line saying "if everyone in room dances we all get free magic"

Some poor girl was just sitting at a table wen i went in the other day asking this other girl very nicely if she would move so she could take a picture. She even said the girl could have her seat as soon as she was done. The other girl just stood there going, No!I wont move! Eventually she did move and said Whatever. Soemtimes i just dont understand why people do these things.

The people who are being sooo rude probably dont even have lifes and want to ruin their "virtual" ones too.

I sure hope I don't see it when I get on vmk and into club 33. I don't get why people do this like it's their hobby.

A while after I got in there were these three girls following this guy around and one of them was saying that she was in his class in real life. He said he doesn't know her and was saying things like <removed>.They were breaking values by saying what school do you go to, where do you live etc. They kept following him around and he was saying curse words to them. People were telling the girls to leave him alone. People also reported the guy for cursing. They finally left him alone after someone said that they will report them if they did not leave him alone.

In my one visit to Club 33 there was a girl sitting at a table by the window saying if someone gave her something rare she would let them sit there. I of course replied "why should someone pay you to sit in a public room?" She just said "idk lol" A pretty sad room if that is how things are going to be

Fortunately when I visited I didn't encounter rudeness. Players asked nicely for others to move so they could take pics, and people complied. When I moved out of a chair so another player could sit to take a pic, she walked up to me and thanked me after she was done. LOL, hopefully these are the kind of people who will be allowed to visit the Club in the future.

Methinks many of them are probably kids who may or may not have been taught manners and to treat others with respect. Sometimes I wonder if that could in some part be attributed to the demise of the good old fashioned spanking?

Not necessarily my opinion, but I do wonder...

where do you get into Club 33? it might be a stupid question, but how???

anyway, i'm suprised that vmk won't just go inside and ban people who are causing trouble . they should know when to go in and tell virtual vmkers that they could possibly be banned if the rudeness continues.

Perhaps you are missing the point here.

What is sad is not that some kids have never seen a picture of Walt Disney. Trying to get information about something is never bad behavior! What is sad is when other players behave unkindly by insulting someone's lack of knowledge.

Good manners means considering the feelings of others and making them feel comfortable.
