Cindy, Cindy, Cindy! OMG, NOOOOOOOOOOO!
I was thankful that we could sleep in today since I got Cindy's for 10:20 a.m.! DD was trying to convince me that she had had enough of Princesses and could we just forget about it! I don't think so! I reminded her that it could have been another 8:00 a.m. Breakfast! And since they took my CC#, I was gonna pay whether we ate there or not! So guess what, Chicky! We take our time and head over to MK! I can't believe it! It's EE morning and the place is empty! Well not quite empty but we got onto Snow White right away! Not once but twice! Geez, if I had of known, we would have gotten there earlier! Decided to go over to the podium and check in! I stroll on up and say we have ressies for 10 something! She says, "No you don't!" But, But, But.... "You had ressies for 8:20 A.M.! Boy did I turn 50 shades of RED! But, But, But.... I guess we won't be able to get in

"Are you kidding! This is the Magic Kingdom! Of course you can come in!" DD was not impressed, she figured she was gonna get her way! Pixie Dust on Me! I guess when you are a party of two, it's easy to fit you in. Pixie Dust again 'cause we end up with a table by the window! DD who did not want to be there sure picked the better seat with the better view! No Tink but Peter Pan happened to "Fly" by with Captain Hook hot on his heels!
The meal here was, well, not the best. I did enjoy the yogurt and fresh fruit! The French Toast stuffed with.... I still cannot figure it out, well let's just say interesting! Maybe if I had gotten to finish breakfast, I would have had a better chance! I felt very rushed and it was like "Move 'em In, and Move 'em right on out!" I think next time we will try dinner instead! Well at least now I can say I ate at the Castle!
MK was not a busy place and once again we managed to get onto rides without too much wait time! Peter Pan was 5 mins and FastPass was within our ride time plus one ride on The Haunted Mansion, get FastPass for HM, back to PP and then back to HM! But this time whille entering HM, I guess I was mocking the "The Voice" and did not notice the CM sneak up behind me and scare the Bejesus out of me! DD and I had a great laugh about that! It just goes to show you, no matter how many times you are there, there is always something or someone making your experience new! This is also the first time we got stuck on the ride! It wasn't for long but it was right in front of the Parlor Scene which was really nice! It gave us a chance to really appreciate that scene. We did a lot more rides and were having a grand old time! DD was enjoying it so much that I could not convince her to go back to AKL to go swimming! I had tentatively made plans to meet up with MikeJ and his family but DD was not having any part of it! So off to the Tiki Tiki Room one more time!
I also could not believe the Pirates was a walk on! There were more crowds in January! Lunch was gonna be some quick snacks due to the fact we were going to have dinner at Jiko's! Rickie D's FF and of course, a Dole Whip for dessert! Unfortunately, the afternoon showers were to cut our afternoon early. Oh well it was bound to happen! It was my excuse to finally buy that MM Umbrella that I keep telling myself that I would buy myself but never did! And of course, right after I bought it, it stopped raining! We decided not to stay and we needed to head over to the Sports complex for one of our pins for our Summer Vacation! It seems that everybody had the same idea since the sun was not a shinin! Met crystalb and her other half while on the way back! Diser #2! Lime Green Ribbons Work!
After this we headed back to the resort in order to get ready for Jiko! When we got back to the room and I headed for the bathroom, I noticed a heavy stench! I had hoped that after my shower that it would go away! Unfortunately, it did not and DD almost lost it at Jiko! Luckily, our server Sally was very understanding! DD kept going back up to the room but that's what seemed to be her problem. Obviously, DD is very sensitive to objectional smells and takes after her Baba! Luckily I have meds and it seems to calm her stomach.
DD had ordered the Roast Corn Soup but just could not down it due to the smokiness of it's flavouring. As for myself, I had the Olive Flatbread and could not but take a few spoonfuls of the soup for fear of filling up and not being able to have my Fillet with Mac n Cheese! DD had also decided to try the Fillet and boy did it do the trick for her! Sally had mentioned that you would be able to "cut" your Fillet with a butter knife it was so good! DD put her to the test! It worked! DD likes her meat well done and I was shocked at how tender it still was! Me, of course, I like it to "MMMOOOO!" It was done to perfection! DD is not a Mac n Cheese type unless it is KD! So she opted for mashed potatoes, with the sauce on the side! Me the way it was meant to be! The meal was awesome! Put is this way, DD forgot just how sick she was feeling and all she kept saying was, "Can we eat here again?" For dessert we had the sampler but after our meals, it was not what we wanted! DD wanted her "Steakie"!
After dinner we went for a little walk around the resort and I also reported the "Funky Smell" to Guest Services. The funny thing was she could not understand why now! Either could I, we have been here since Monday and today was the first time we noticed any kind of stench. As DD said, "It reminds me of the Cruise!"
It was obvious she was not in any mood to do anything, so I thought it best we put her to bed. I closed the bathroom door and it seemed to help a little. As I found out later, our usual Mousekeeper was off and the other Mousekeeper was not as thorough in her cleaning! Our Mousekeeper went as far as changing our Shower Curtain Liner and leaving a spray for DD to use.
I tried sitting on the balcony but the bugs were bugging! So I thought to myself, what better way to end a good meal? With a nice long nap! For tomorrow is early to rise for Donalds'!
